Traci Bisson is the Founder and Owner of Golden Dog Adventure Co. Since 2018, she has guided the organization’s growth from its beginnings as the NH Dog Walking Club into a regional leader known for creating safe, inclusive, and innovative experiences for dogs and their people.

Under her leadership, Golden Dog has become recognized for its focus on community, education, and wellbeing — pioneering safe spaces for reactive dogs, championing force-free and relationship-based practices, and connecting members with some of the top experts in the industry. As health challenges for both people and dogs have become more urgent — from rising obesity rates to increased stress, anxiety, and disconnection from nature — Traci has positioned Golden Dog to expand its mission. In 2026, the company will officially transition into offering innovative programs that combine movement, adventure, and wellness coaching to improve the physical and mental health of both people and their dogs.

Traci brings more than 30 years of experience in marketing, public relations, and nonprofit leadership to her work. She spent 15 years as the owner of Bisson Barcelona, a PR and marketing firm, and 12 years working in the nonprofit sector. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in wildlife management and business from the University of New Hampshire in 1994 and has been recognized for her professional achievements, sustainability efforts, and community impact.

Currently, Traci is studying with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) to become a Certified Wellness Instructor, a credential that will allow her to expand Golden Dog’s offerings to include personalized coaching and wellness programming. Her mission is to empower dog guardians to improve their own health and wellbeing — and in turn, better support the dogs they love as family.
