Project Yearbook 2026

Capture the Story of Your Dog and Celebrate the Moments That Matter

A year-long experience that turns your dog’s adventures, personality, and memories into a beautiful keepsake.

The moments go faster than we expect.

The muddy paws. The trail walks. The quiet moments at home. The friendships formed along the way. You take photos… but they live on your phone. Scattered. Forgotten. Never fully told as a story. And one day, you wish you had more to hold onto.

This is why we created Project Yearbook.

Project Yearbook is a guided, year-long experience designed to help you:

✔ Capture your dog’s personality
✔ Document your shared adventures
✔ Preserve meaningful moments
✔ Turn it all into a tangible, lasting keepsake

This isn’t just a photo session. It’s your dog’s story—told over an entire year.

Sandra McCarthy was a pleasure to work with. My pup, Petey, is a little timid around new people at first, but he warmed up right away. I was in awe of the photos Sandra took. Priceless and so heartwarming. I would recommend Sandra to anyone who wants to capture their pet's essence for a lifetime.

Kim, at Kimberly Sarah Photography, is an incredibly talented artist - I could go on and on, but let me keep it simple and say my experience with her was simply phenomenal. I brought my 2 Great Danes to her, one of which had just been diagnosed with bone cancer and has since passed away. I cannot tell you how much I treasure my art and how grateful I am to Kim for capturing my dogs so beautifully. Don't hesitate - you won't be disappointed!

I rarely get photos taken of me with my dog (I’m usually the one taking photos of him!) so I love having photos of us spending quality time together at fun events thanks to Ray Bisson. 😊

Kim and her team at Kimberly Sarah Photography are thoughtful and wonderful to work with. Their art is incredible, I know that is often said, but it truly is amazing. Kim is able to look past the standard "portrait" style and find what makes your pet and your family special and capture it. Highly recommended!

Sandra McCarthy is A-mazing! We have booked 2 photo sessions with her, and she has been able to get our dogs to pose and sit even when we thought all was lost. She is professional and has a "dog whisperer" type of effect. Highly recommend!

Absolutely the BEST decision I have made in getting photos done by Sandra McCarthy. She was kind, thoughtful, clear in her explanations, and so patient with myself and my dogs. Her work is stunning and the quality of prints and products she offers from her photos are outstanding. Without a doubt worth the time and money - will be returning for more photos!

Love the photos! Sometimes it's hard to take a moment to get a good photo so it's been nice not having to worry about it too much and enjoy our time at the event. Also Ray Bisson gets some priceless moments!

Kim, at Kimberly Sarah Photography, is one of the most passionate and skilled animal photographers with whom I've worked. She volunteers regularly taking high-level pictures of homeless animals and when I was in need of capturing my relationship with my nine year old Golden Retriever who had recently been diagnosed with brain cancer, I knew I wanted Kim to be the one to take the photos. The final pieces came out beautifully and completely captured my life with her. The large wall art I ordered sits beautifully above my mantel. I would recommend Kim for any of your animal photography needs (and beyond!)

Kim and Bud were so awesome at Kimberly Sarah Photography. We brought our 3 dogs in for a photo session. Dogs and people had an awesome time. Artwork was fantastic and is now proudly hanging in our living room.

I also love seeing the photos taken by Ray Bisson from the adventures we have participated in. I do take photos myself of just Scout but it is real special to see us having fun together.

As a dog owner with one reactive dog and another independent hound, getting the perfect photo of my girls can be a challenge. But Ray Bisson always manages to capture our Golden Dog adventures in incredible photos. Whether it’s a candid moment or a carefully posed shot, Ray has an eye for bringing out the best in my dogs. Every image is a beautiful memory, and I truly cherish the moments he’s captured for me. It’s not just about having a picture; it’s about having something that reflects their personalities and our bond. I’m so grateful for his talent, patience, and the beautiful memories!

We have gone with Sandra McCarthy for multiple sessions of pictures of our family with our pups. From memorial photos of our dog suffering from lymphoma, to pictures in a lavender field with our new puppy, and now our maternity photos. She has done an amazing job time and time again. She is super patient with dogs, and really knows how to pose us to make a picture look great. I would recommend her to anyone!

As someone with a reactive dog who doesn't let many people close enough to take pictures of us, I appreciate Ray, Traci, and other Golden Dog Team members' efforts to be conscious of our space needs and still get amazing pictures. Most of my favorite pictures of us are ones that have been taken on Golden Dog Adventures.

Here is What is Included in the Packages

A Pup Profile is a personalized snapshot of your dog’s personality, quirks, and favorite things. You’ll complete a short form to help us create it. A high-resolution photo for the yearbook will be provided through your package—either by you or by Sandra McCarthy Photography for Memories and Puparazzi participants.

Seasonal Candids are real, in-the-moment photos captured during Golden Dog adventures throughout the year. These images reflect the joy, connection, and experiences you and your dog share across every season. The best images will be selected for inclusion in the yearbook—the more events you attend, the greater your chances of being featured.

The Digital Yearbook is a downloadable PDF version of the 2026 Project Yearbook. It allows you to easily view, share, and revisit your dog’s story and the community’s memories anytime. This will be available mid-December.

With any package purchase, you’ll receive access to the 2026 Google folder of candid photos captured during Golden Dog events throughout the year. You can browse, download, and enjoy images from the adventures you and your dog are part of.

To submit non-Golden Dog candid photos means you’ll provide up to 5 candid images of your dog from everyday life outside of Golden Dog events. These photos will be featured in our special scrapbook-style section and help tell your dog’s full story in the yearbook. See examples below.

The Superlative Fun Contest Entry is your dog’s chance to shine in a lighthearted, community-wide contest celebrating personality and charm. Over two weeks, participants can vote across 10+ categories using donations to support their favorites—raising funds for Golden Dog’s charitable partners. In 2025, this contest generated over $3,000 through community voting. See examples below.

A Dedication, Celebration Tribute, or Memoriam is a special feature in the yearbook that celebrates your dog’s life, story, and milestones. Depending on your package, this can be a half-page (Memories) or full-page (Puparazzi) layout. You may include up to 3 photos and a 50-word write-up (Memories), or up to 5 photos and a 150-word write-up (Puparazzi), creating a meaningful and lasting highlight—whether you’re honoring their achievements, personality, or memory. Multiple family dogs or pets may be included on the full-page. See examples below.

The option to purchase a Hardcover Edition allows you to order a professionally printed, high-quality version of the 2026 Project Yearbook at cost. The 2025 hardcover edition was approximately $150 and was available for pickup in mid-December, offering a beautiful, lasting keepsake you can hold and revisit for years to come.

An Invitation to the Project Yearbook End-of-Year Pawty is your opportunity to celebrate the year with the Golden Dog community. This special, dog-friendly event brings everyone together to reflect on the memories, enjoy a highlights presentation, and connect over delicious food and conversation. In 2025, the catered event was held at North Country Hard Cider in Dover, where guests enjoyed appetizers and desserts and we presented the Pawsitive Impact Award to a member in appreciation of their dedication to pets, people, and community.

A Sibling Session is a Pup Portrait session for an additional dog from the same family. This option is available with the Memories and Puparazzi Packages. Each dog receives their own Pup Portrait session with Sandra McCarthy Photography, a personalized Pup Profile in the yearbook, and eligibility for seasonal candids. You may add on as many additional dogs as you would like.

Note: Pup Portrait sessions with Sandra McCarthy must be scheduled back-to-back on the same date. If you book a 1:00 PM time slot, your additional dog(s) will be scheduled immediately following that session.

Don't want a full package? Choose an option below that fits your budget!

Explore our optional add-ons, from sibling sessions and dedication pages to seasonal photos. These à la carte options can be purchased with or without a Package except the Sibling Sessions. Access to the 2025 candid photo folder on Google Drive is also available with purchase of Additional Photos, Celebration Tribute, Dedication Page, and Hardcover Edition. All à la carte options also receive a PDF version of the Yearbook.
