For us, being inclusive does not mean embracing every training philosophy or every type of equipment. Instead, we practice intentional inclusivity: creating a welcoming space for all people who share our core beliefs and values, while ensuring the highest level of safety and well-being for dogs and humans alike.

Our approach is rooted in kindness, respect, and science. Here’s what that looks like in practice:

We strive to create a community that is warm, supportive, and inclusive of all dog lovers — while staying firmly grounded in our mission to promote safe, positive, enriching experiences.
✅ Science-Backed, Force-Free Principles:
Along with our dog training partners, we prioritize modern, research-based, positive reinforcement training methods. We do not allow the use of aversive tools or punishment-based techniques at our events.
✅ Building Trust and Confidence:
Our goal is always to foster an environment where dogs can build confidence, feel safe, and learn without fear or stress.
✅ Respect for Choice, Boundaries on Practice:
We understand that every dog and handler is on their own journey, and we respect that. But within our programs, we adhere to clear, consistent guidelines aligned with what the research shows to be best for dogs’ emotional and physical well-being.
Why This Approach Matters
We recognize that the dog training world can be deeply divided. Our stance is not meant to shame or alienate anyone who uses different tools or methods in their personal life. Rather, it’s about creating consistency and safety for the dogs and humans in our care.
We also acknowledge that not every community is the right fit for every person — and that’s okay. We’ve built a space for those who align with our values, and we remain committed to supporting them with integrity and compassion.
Our choice to prohibit aversive tools is about staying true to who we are, not passing judgment. And while we don’t engage in debates over training methods, we welcome thoughtful conversation, curiosity, and learning.
