Over the past few weeks, we’ve been visiting more dog-friendly patios to add to our list. Here are some of our favorite places throughout New Hampshire, and neighboring states, where both you and your dog will feel welcome.

Flag Hill Distillery & Winery – Lee, NH
If you’re looking for a dog-friendly winery that really understands how to make both people and dogs feel welcome, Flag Hill is a must-visit. Their spacious patio is surrounded by scenic vineyards, and your leashed dog can join you. Start your visit with a relaxing 1.5-mile walk through the vineyard trails, then settle in for a wine tasting or one of their famous wine slushies.
Riverwalk Brewing Co. – Newburyport, MA
Riverwalk’s large outdoor beer garden is ideal after a walk on the nearby Clipper City Rail Trail. With picnic tables, grassy spaces, and friendly staff who offer water bowls to dogs, it’s an easy, relaxed spot to enjoy a beer and a bite to eat while your dog rests at your feet.
Loaded Question Brewing Co. – Portsmouth, NH
This hidden gem in Portsmouth features a quiet, tucked-away beer garden behind the building — perfect if your dog prefers a calmer space. With shaded tables, heaters in colder months, and a staff that welcomes dogs, it’s an easy place to settle in. Bring a mat for your pup (the surface is gravel), and enjoy a small-batch brew in peace.
The Ice House – Rye, NH
After hiking the Little Harbor Loop Trail in Portsmouth, reward yourself with a sweet treat or sandwich from The Ice House. Their grassy picnic area is widely spaced, giving dogs plenty of room to relax. It’s casual, kid-friendly, and ideal for a mellow post-walk break.
Able Ebenezer Brewing Company – Merrimack, NH
This open-air beer garden is welcoming with plenty of space for your dog to relax while you enjoy bold, hop-forward beers. The layout makes it easy for dogs to settle without crowding, and the vibe is low-key and relaxed.
Flamingos Coffee Bar – Hampton, NH
Flamingos offers a few cozy patio tables for enjoying breakfast or coffee with your pup before heading down to Hampton Beach (dogs allowed on the beach Oct–April). It’s a laid-back morning stop that’s perfect for early risers. Dogs are not allowed in the coffee shop so bring a buddy with you.
Flying Goose Brew Pub & Grille – New London, NH
This spot offers grassy outdoor seating and sweeping views of the mountains. You can bring a blanket for your pup or settle them at your feet while you enjoy craft beer and hearty food. It’s a favorite for its space and quiet charm.
Muddy Road Brewery – New Durham, NH
This dog-friendly brewery offers a quiet outdoor patio with picnic tables or relax inside when the weather is not favorable. The staff are welcoming to dogs both inside and out, and the vibe is casual and low-key. They offer delicious fresh pizza, homemade root beer, and craft beer options as well as live music on weekends.
Fody’s Tavern – Derry, NH
Fody’s features a covered patio with turf flooring and heaters, making it a dog-friendly option no matter the season. After a walk through downtown, settle in for drinks and dinner while your dog stretches out comfortably.
Fulchino Vineyard – Hollis, NH
Fulchino’s deck overlooks scenic vineyards and gardens, offering a peaceful space for dogs to settle in. Bring a blanket or mat for your dog’s comfort, and enjoy wine and snacks in a setting that feels like a countryside retreat.
Groundswell Surf Café – Salisbury Beach, MA
If your dog loves the beach, Groundswell is a great stop — especially in the off-season when dogs are allowed on the sand. Their patio sits right at the beach edge, and you can bring your pup inside to order before finding a spot to relax outside.
Hobbs Brewery – Ossipee, NH
With plenty of space, visiting food trucks, and heaters in colder months, Hobbs’ patio is a relaxed gathering place for beer lovers and dog lovers alike. The surface is gravel and concrete, so bring a mat for your pup to lie down.
Basecamp Brewing – Lincoln, NH

Zorvino Vineyards – Sandown, NH
Zorvino offers a relaxing mix of patio seating and shaded picnic tables throughout the vineyard grounds. Take a stroll along the walking trails first, then find a spot where your dog can settle while you enjoy wine and food in the fresh air.
LaBelle Winery – Amherst, NH
LaBelle’s beautifully landscaped patio feels refined but welcoming. Enjoy wine and seasonal fare while your dog rests at your feet. It’s a more upscale stop that still makes room for canine companions.
Tandy’s Pub & Grille – Concord, NH
Tandy’s brick-lined patio in Eagle Square has plenty of seating and energy without being overwhelming. After walking through downtown Concord, stop here for a relaxed dinner or drinks while your pup people-watches by your side.
York Beach Beer Company – York Beach, ME
Just a block from the ocean, this brewery offers a breezy, casual patio with session-style beers and a dog-friendly vibe. It’s the perfect way to wrap up a walk along Short Sands or Long Sands Beach.
SILO Distillery – Windsor, VT
SILO’s rustic patio is peaceful and small, but welcoming to dogs. Sit with your pup under the Vermont sky and sip handcrafted spirits in a relaxing, quiet space surrounded by natural beauty.
Harpoon Brewery – Windsor, VT
Harpoon’s Windsor location features a beautiful beer garden with mountain views and plenty of space for your dog to relax while you enjoy craft beer and hearty food. The staff are welcoming and used to canine visitors, making it a great stop after exploring the area.
Tuscan Village – Salem, NH
If you want an all-day experience with your dog, Tuscan Village has it all. Walk the trails, splash in the lake, then relax on one of the many pet-friendly patios or beer gardens throughout the 170-acre property. There are also pet waste stations, dog-friendly shops, and events like WOOFstock, which support local rescues. It’s great for dogs who enjoy people-watching, and it also offers quieter areas around the perimeter for more sensitive pups.
The Brick House – Hooksett, NH
The Brick House offers a large outdoor patio with plenty of room for your pup to get comfortable. The vibe is friendly and casual, and their creative comfort food menu makes it easy to relax and stay awhile.
North Country Hard Cider – Dover, NH
This cider house features a cozy, dog-friendly patio where you can sample small-batch ciders made on-site. The staff are dog lovers, and the low-key setting makes it a great place to unwind after a walk near downtown Dover.
Emery Farm – Durham, NH
After hiking at Wagon Hill Farm, stop by Emery Farm for a scoop of ice cream or a warm drink. Their peaceful picnic area is dog-friendly with plenty of space to spread out. It’s especially nice in the fall when the foliage is at its peak.
Over the Moon Farmstead – Pittsfield, NH
Over the Moon’s outdoor deck is a relaxing spot to unwind with pizza and drinks — and if you’re lucky, you might even catch a hot air balloon launch in the field nearby in early August. It’s a great way to end the day with your pup by your side.
