Charitable Partners

Attention NH-Based Pet NonProfits

Are you looking for marketing and fundraising help?

We invite NH-based pet nonprofits, who subscribe to our Core Beliefs and Values, to apply to our Charitable Partner’s Program. Charities that have received a full-year of support must wait a year before reapplying.

Charitable Partner’s Program

Annually, we support a NH-based pet nonprofit by creating awareness of its cause and raising funds for the organization.

Nonprofits interested in our program, must be a 501(c)(3) organization and complete our application process, which asks for information about your mission as well as marketing and financial needs.

Deadline for Submission

To be considered for the 2023 Charitable Partner’s Program, completed questionnaires must be submitted by November 1, 2022. Our management team reviews all applications and chooses 5 finalists. This information is then shared with our official Club members over a two week period for feedback and voting. The top organization will be offered a spot in our 2023 Charitable Partner’s Program.

Our Application Submission process for 2023 is now open. The deadline to submit is November 1, 2022.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Charitable Partner’s Program started in 2019 prior to the covid-19 crisis. When activities and events were put on hold, we had to restructure the program in order to continue generating awareness of our Charitable Partners and raising funds for their organizations. Since its inception, we have raised over $12,500 for our charitable partners.

The Golden Dog Adventure Co. management team carefully evaluates all 2023 applications submitted by the November 1st deadline and selects 5 finalists by November 30th. Information provided by the finalists is then shared with our official Club members for feedback and voting from 12/1/2022 – 12/15/2022. At the end of the voting period, the top organization with the most votes will be offered a spot in the 2023 Charitable Partner’s Program.

Completed applications must be received by 11:59pm on November 1, 2022 to be considered for our 2023 Charitable Partner’s Program.

The management team at Golden Dog Adventure Co., which consists of the Owner and Lead Guide and Events Manager, determine the 5 finalists.

Once the 5 finalists have been chosen, the information provided by the finalists is then shared with our official Club members for feedback and voting from 12/1/2022 – 12/15/2022. At the end of the voting period, the top organization with the most votes will be offered a spot in the 2023 Charitable Partner’s Program.

We’re looking for three basic things:

  1. Your mission. We’re looking for information on how your organization helps pets and their people.
  2. Plans for growing/starting your charity. We’re not looking for a formal business plan, but we want to understand your strategy for becoming a sustainable organization. You are encouraged to share an explanation of how you’ll achieve business success. It might include some mention of your market, your team, the things you’ve overcome so far, and the challenges you still face.
  3. Plans for the marketing support and funds raised. Tell us how you would use the marketing support offered as well as what the money raised would be used for. Be as detailed as you can.

We request that businesses be a pet-focused charity based in NH and a 501(c)(3) organization. The applicant must also be at least 18 years old.

We do not provide individual feedback on applications.

In 2020, ElderPet, Mary’s Dogs, and Live and Let Live Farm participated in the Charitable Partner’s Program. In 2021, Mary’s Dogs and Live and Let Live Farm were once again voted into the program as was Hero Pups. In 2022, members once again voted to support Mary’s Dogs.

Yes, please apply! You are welcome to participate as much or as little as you are able to in outreach activities for your organization with the Club. We understand your time is limited and will assist you and your team any way we can with marketing support.

There is absolutely no cost to participate in the Charitable Partner’s Program. Golden Dog Adventure Co. has a commitment to giving back and supporting the local community hence the reason this program was created.
