- **NEW** this year, guests will be able to check in from the comfort of their car. As you enter the driveway for Muddy Road Brewery, our team will be there to give you all the info you need before parking.
- Professional dog trainer, Helen St. Pierre of No Monkey Business Dog Training, will be on-site to monitor dog body language, ensure that all participants are spread out comfortably, and help manage any concerns.
- Event tables and activities are spaced out to prevent crowding and allow guests to move through stations at their own pace.
- If you or your dog need assistance, visit the Safety Station near the barn and ask for Traci.
- We recognize that dogs have different comfort levels and temperaments. Our Social Ribbons System helps identify each dog’s personality and space needs, ensuring a positive experience for everyone. If needed, pick up one for your dog at the Safety Station.
- Some activities may involve dogs being in closer contact or sharing sensory exploration spaces. If you are concerned about the canine respiratory illness, we recommend avoiding these activities or choosing not to attend.
- Retractable leashes and aversive training tools are not allowed. This includes prong/pinch collars, choke collars, bark control devices, shock collars, and spray collars. All dogs must be on a 6-8 foot leash at all times.
To ensure a fun, safe, and environmentally friendly experience for all, please follow these event guidelines:
- Bring an Easter basket or reusable bag to collect eggs.
- At the end of the event, you may keep your eggs or return them to the designated recycling bins near the barn.
- Watch your dog carefully during the egg hunt. When their nose touches an egg, pick it up and place it in your basket. Do not allow your dog to put eggs in their mouth, as they could break.
- Dogs must be on a 6-8 foot leash at all times. Retractable leashes are not permitted.
- All dogs must be current on their rabies vaccination.
- Dogs showing signs of respiratory illness, such as coughing, sneezing, or runny nose, must not attend.
- All participants must complete our Liability Waivers prior to attending. If you have already done so, thank you.
- Limit of two dogs per person. For maximum happiness, we recommend only one dog per person.
- Please pick up after your dog and dispose of waste in the provided trash receptacles.
- Respect the space and needs of all guests and their dogs by remembering that most dogs need additional consideration to feel safe and comfortable at this type of event.
- Review the Golden Dog Adventure Co. Community Guidelines for additional information.

Brightly colored plastic eggs are “hidden” throughout the field at Muddy Road Brewery for your dog to sniff out. Each contains a tasty treat and some may have a prize slip.
VID Experience ticket holders are the first to seek eggs. Additional guests are randomly divided into 3 groups – A, B & C. Each group has a different time slot. A member of our team will guide you and your dog to the appropriate area when it is time to start the egg hunt.
Each dog is able to find and retrieve 20 eggs (30 eggs for V.I.D. dogs).
The eggs are made of plastic. Please watch your dog carefully. When their nose touches an egg that is when you should pick up and put in your basket/bag to avoid breaking and ingesting parts of the egg.

The 4th Annual Doggy Easter Egg Hunt is a fundraiser for our Charitable Partner’s Program
Annually, we support local charities by helping to raise funds and create awareness of their causes. Since our program was established in 2019, with the assistance of our members, partners, and community, we have raised over $50K (not including donated goods/services) to support local pet charities.
This year, our event is supporting Mary’s Dogs, Old Dogs Go To Helen, NHSPCA, and Cornerstone VNA’s Pet Peace of Mind Program.
Golden Dog Adventure Co., established in 2018, brings dogs and their people together for exercise, education, and socialization in positive, welcoming, and fun environments.
To learn more, visit our About and Core Beliefs & Values pages.
If safe to do so, the event will still take place if it rains. If high winds or thunderstorms are predicted, the event will be rescheduled to Saturday, April 26th at the same time.
Since this is a fundraiser for our Charitable Partners, there is no refund available. Your ticket investment will be donated to the charities we are supporting during this event. Thank you for understanding!
