COMMUNITY EVENT: Senior Stroll at Pickering Ponds Trails to Celebrate the Arrival of Fall

ABOUT THE EVENT:
Join us for a Community Event to Pickering Ponds Trails in Rochester, NH. There is no charge for this event. We encourage those who have never attended an event to come out and see what we are all about.

Pickering Ponds Trails is a Club favorite. No matter what your dog’s age or ability, these trails are perfect. Join us for a relaxing evening as we enjoy the change from summer to fall at a beautiful spot that is flat and has grassy, wide trails. There are several different options for walking, including a shorter walk around the pond (approximately 3/4 – 1 mile), a longer walk around both ponds (approx. 1.5 miles) or walk the extended version which loops along the Cocheco River and has a slight downhill and uphill for the full 2+ miles.

TRAIL RATING:
Pickering Ponds Trails are rated Level 1 – 1.5. The trails are wide and mostly flat. The shorter trails are completely flat and perfect for senior dogs and dog’s with special needs.

COST: There is no charge for this event, but you must RSVP below.

DIRECTIONS/PARKING:
Pickering ponds is located at 374 Pickering Road, Rochester, NH. The opening to the Trail parking lot is located across from the house that sits at this address. Parking is along a short road that leads to the entry.

WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE JOINING AN EVENT:

CANCELLATIONS:
If weather or covid conditions make gathering and walking unsafe, the event will be cancelled and announced in the Event section of the Facebook Group and on this Calendar page.
