ABOUT THE EVENT:
Step up to the challenge and showcase your dog’s agility skills at the Obstacle Course Competition. Our Obstacle Course is an opportunity for you and your four-legged friend to bond, compete, and shine. Whether your dog is a seasoned competitor or a novice eager to learn, this event promises a rewarding experience.

Before the competition heats up, we offer a trial run for all participants. This allows your dog to familiarize themselves with the course, which includes Weave Poles, Hurdles, and Hoop Jumps. It’s a perfect way for both of you to get comfortable with the layout and build confidence.

Competition Details:

• Guided Participation: You will need to actively guide your dog through the obstacle course using a leash and enticing them with treats. This is more than just a competition; it’s a chance to engage actively with your pet and assist them in navigating the challenges.
• Timed Trials: The event focuses on speed and precision. Dogs will be timed as they dash through the course, and the time will be recorded.

This Obstacle Course Competition isn’t just about winning; it’s about enjoying a day of exercise and teamwork with your dog. Join us to leap, weave, and jump your way through a course that tests agility and strengthens bonds. Please bring high value treats with you!

JUDGING CRITERIA: You and your dog will be judged on the following criteria.

1. Speed & Completion of Obstacle Course
2. Dog/Handler Communication
3. Confidence Level & Focus

IS THIS EVENT GOOD FOR REACTIVE DOGS?
Reactive Dog Level 2. See our Comfort Chart for explanation. For this competition, you will be inside Woofmeow in Derry, NH to have your dog’s speed, concentration, and focus measured. If your dog is uncomfortable in pet stores with other people/dogs inside, then this would not be a good event for your pup. If your dog needs additional space or consideration, please choose the Reactive Dog Friendly ticket option below.
