DOGGY OLYMPICS: Pool Toy Retrieval Competition at Woofmeow 6

ABOUT THE EVENT:
Join us for the Pool Toy Retrieval contest, where fun meets friendly competition! This event is perfect for all water-loving dogs, offering them a chance to showcase their fetching skills in a refreshing pool setting.

A Woofmeow team member will toss a variety of floating toys into the pool, and on the signal, your dog will jump in to retrieve them. Each dog’s performance is timed from the splash at entry to the moment they return the toy to their handler.

Competition Details:

• Assorted Floating Toys: A range of toys will be available to cater to different sizes and preferences of dogs.
• Timed Fetch: Your dog will compete to see if they can retrieve the toys the quickest.
• Multiple Attempts: To maximize the fun, your dog will have several opportunities to improve their times across multiple rounds.

This event promises a day full of excitement, wagging tails, and splashing water. Whether your dog is a seasoned swimmer or just learning the ropes, the Pool Toy Retrieval Contest is a great way to engage in the spirit of the Olympics and enjoy a cool, fun-filled experience.

JUDGING CRITERIA: You and your dog will be judged on the following criteria.

1. Quickest Retrieval Time
2. Dog/Handler Communication
3. Confidence Level

IS THIS EVENT GOOD FOR REACTIVE DOGS?
Reactive Dog Level 2. See our Comfort Chart for explanation. For this competition, you will be inside Woofmeow in Dover, NH to have your dog’s toy retrieval time in water measured. Your dog will be the only one in the pool area during the competition. If your dog is uncomfortable in pet stores with other people/dogs inside, then this may not be a good event for your pup. If your dog needs additional space or consideration for this competition, please email woof@goldendognh.com for assistance.
