DOGGY SOCIAL: Bark in the USA Memorial Day Weekend Social at the Playground

ABOUT THE EVENT:
Celebrate Memorial Day Weekend with a patriotic party made just for dogs and the people who love them.

Join us at the Golden Dog Playground for our Bark in the USA Social, a festive 90-minute holiday gathering filled with splash zones, music, enrichment, treats, and relaxed community connection.

Dogs will enjoy full off-leash access to roam our 1-acre fenced-in Playground, meet new friends, explore enrichment toys, splash in the pools, and build confidence on our sensory and agility equipment designed to engage both body and mind.

This laid-back holiday social is a chance for dogs to play, explore, cool off, and connect in a safe, enriching environment while their humans relax and enjoy the fun.

Event Highlights:

Pool Party Splash Zones
The pools are officially out for the season! Dogs can cool off, splash around, and enjoy some Memorial Day weekend fun in the water.

Live Music
Enjoy live guitar and vocals from our dog training partner, Jake Belmont of Red Pointy Dog Training, as he helps set the tone for a fun, laid-back holiday celebration at the Playground.

Themed Mocktails for People & Pups
Lucas Bisson of Treasured Connections Pet Services will be serving up festive, themed mocktails for both humans and dogs.

Off-Leash Playground Fun
Dogs will have access to enrichment toys, open space, sensory stations, agility-style equipment, and plenty of room to sniff, run, explore, and socialize.

Bring a lawn chair, relax in the shade, and enjoy a fun, festive Memorial Day Weekend celebration with your dog and the Golden Dog community. Patriotic attire and festive bandanas are welcome, but not required. Come ready to splash, socialize, and celebrate Bark in the USA style!

IS THIS EVENT GOOD FOR REACTIVE DOGS?
Reactive Dog Level 3-4. See our Comfort Chart for explanation. This event is NOT good for reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs that have not yet experienced a pack of loose dogs. Also, if your dog has any resource guarding behavior this event would not be comfortable for them. Please do not sign up if you feel your dog would be uncomfortable in this social situation since we want all people and dogs to be safe and have a positive experience. • Not-Yet Members – $45/dog

Please no children under the age of 13; must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian over the age of 21. Please email cancel@goldendognh.com if your plans have changed. Full refund issued if cancellation received 48 hours prior to event start time, otherwise no refund if canceled after. 

DIRECTIONS/PARKING:
This social will be held in Barrington, NH. Participants will receive all the details 24 hours prior to the event start time.

WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE JOINING AN EVENT:
Please review our Club Guidelines, sign our Liability Waivers & Release Forms, and read our covid guidelines on our Events & Activities page.

CANCELLATIONS:
If weather or covid conditions make gathering and walking unsafe, the event will be cancelled and registered participants will receive a email cancellation notice. It will also be announced in the Event section of the Facebook Community Group and on this Calendar page.
