DOGGY SOCIAL: Bark in the USA Social at the Playground (Off-Leash)

ABOUT THE EVENT:
Celebrate the 4th of July with a patriotic party just for dogs and the people who love them. Join us at the Golden Dog Playground for the Bark in the USA Social, a festive and fun-filled 90-minute event featuring splash zones, enrichment games, and sweet treats for both dogs and humans.

Dogs will enjoy full off-leash access to roam the 1-acre fenced in Playground, meet new friends, play with enrichment toys, and build confidence on a variety of sensory and agility equipment designed to engage their bodies and minds.

Event Highlights:

• Pool Party Splash Zones – Multiple dog pools will be available for cooling off, including a special pool for the always-popular game of Hot Dog Bobbing.
• Red, White & Ball Pit – A patriotic enrichment zone filled with red, white, and blue balls and stars for sniffing, digging, and playful exploration.
• Red Egg Hunt – Red plastic eggs will be hidden around the Playground, filled with treats and some with special prize slips.
• Memorable Photo Opportunity – Snap a keepsake photo of your pup against a festive 4th of July-themed backdrop. Bring your own camera or phone.
• Frozen Treats for Dogs – Every canine guest will enjoy a Yöghund frozen yogurt treat during the celebration.
• Frozen Yogurt Parfait Cups for Humans – Guests will cool off with a refreshing parfait made with yogurt, granola, and berries.

Bring a lawn chair to relax in the shade, and enjoy a laid-back holiday celebration where dogs are free to splash, explore, and socialize in a safe, enriching environment.

IS THIS EVENT GOOD FOR REACTIVE DOGS?
Reactive Dog Level 3-4. See our Comfort Chart for explanation. This event is NOT good for reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs that have not yet experienced a pack of loose dogs. Also, if your dog has any resource guarding behavior this event would not be comfortable for them. Please do not sign up if you feel your dog would be uncomfortable in this social situation since we want all people and dogs to be safe and have a positive experience. Instead, please choose the on-leash social happening at 12:00pm today. If you have concerns or questions about if this event is right for your dog, please email woof@goldendognh.com for assistance.

Please no children under the age of 13; must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian over the age of 21. Please email cancel@goldendognh.com if your plans have changed. Full refund issued if cancellation received 48 hours prior to event start time, otherwise no refund if canceled after. 

DIRECTIONS/PARKING:
This social will be held in Barrington, NH. Participants will receive all the details 24 hours prior to the event start time.

WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE JOINING AN EVENT:

CANCELLATIONS:
If weather or covid conditions make gathering and walking unsafe, the event will be cancelled and registered participants will receive a email cancellation notice. It will also be announced in the Event section of the Facebook Community Group and on this Calendar page.
