DOGGY SOCIAL: Fun at the Playground for Small Dogs

ABOUT THE EVENT:
Join us at the Golden Dog Playground where we offer a safe and controlled environment of fun with lots of activities on 1-acre of fenced-in land, including confidence building equipment, a digging box, natural fitness stations, tire tunnels, enrichment toys, and more! There is also plenty of social time for pups to meet and make new friends. At this Doggy Social, we will also offer a scatter feeding activity among the fallen leaves.

This event is perfect for small dogs that have good social skills and have been exposed to a pack of dogs in the past. Your dog must be under 24 pounds to participate in this small dog social.

Your small dog will benefit from:

• Positive social exposure to other small dogs and people in a controlled environment;
• Focused activities that provide mental and physical stimulation;
• Guidance from an experienced dog handler on proper play;
• Access to a multi-sensory environment that includes open field and wooded areas.

IS THIS EVENT GOOD FOR REACTIVE DOGS?
This event is NOT good for reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs that have not yet experienced a pack of loose dogs. Also, if your dog has any resource guarding behavior this event would not be good for them. Please do not sign up if you feel your dog would be uncomfortable in this social situation since we want all people and dogs to be safe and have a positive experience. COST: Limited to 10 small dogs under 24 pounds

• Not-Yet Members – $35/dog

Please no children under the age of 13; must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian over the age of 21. Please email cancel@goldendognh.com if your plans have changed. Full refund issued if cancellation received 48 hours prior to event start time, otherwise no refund if canceled after. 

DIRECTIONS/PARKING:
This social will be held in Barrington, NH. Participants will receive all the details 24 hours prior to the event start time.

WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE JOINING AN EVENT:

CANCELLATIONS:
If weather or covid conditions make gathering and walking unsafe, the event will be cancelled and registered participants will receive a email cancellation notice. It will also be announced in the Event section of the Facebook Community Group and on this Calendar page.
