DOGGY SOCIAL: Halloween & Foam Fun Pawty at the Playground

ABOUT THE EVENT:
You and your dog are invited to join us for a Halloween & Foam Fun Pawty at the Playground. This will be our last foam pawty this year. We will celebrate the holiday with lots of white bubbly foam play as well as some Halloween confidence building games and activities. This 90 minute social includes foam bubbles, enrichment toys, access to our Playground structures, lots of open area to run around in and just be a dog, and holiday-related games and activities!

Sometimes, we encounter things we can’t explain—this is what your dog experiences almost every day. At our Halloween Social, both you and your dog will have the chance to explore and discover unfamiliar things together. We’ll create positive experiences with Halloween-themed stations around the playground to help build your dog’s confidence, as well as your confidence as their leash handler.

• Socialization for Your Dog: Your pup will have the opportunity to interact with other dogs in a safe, controlled environment, helping to improve their social skills and reduce anxiety around other pets.
• Physical Exercise: With access to foam bubbles and Playground structures, your dog will get plenty of exercise, which is essential for maintaining a healthy weight and overall well-being.
• Mental Stimulation: The enrichment toys and varied activities will keep your dog mentally engaged, providing them with new experiences that can help reduce boredom and prevent behavioral issues.
• Bonding Time: Spend quality time with your furry friend in a fun, relaxed setting. Events like these offer a great opportunity to strengthen the bond between you and your dog through shared activities.
• Confidence Building: We will play a few Halloween games and activities as a fun way to help build your dog’s confidence.

NOTE: Foam bubbles are non-toxic and biodegradable. They have been tested on dogs and humans, including human ingestion to make sure safe. 😊

IS THIS EVENT GOOD FOR REACTIVE DOGS?
This event is NOT good for reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs that have not yet experienced a pack of loose dogs. Also, if your dog has any resource guarding behavior this event would not be comfortable for them. Please do not sign up if you feel your dog would be uncomfortable in this social situation since we want all people and dogs to be safe and have a positive experience. COST: Limited to 10 dogs

Please no children under the age of 13; must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian over the age of 21. Please email cancel@goldendognh.com if your plans have changed. Full refund issued if cancellation received 48 hours prior to event start time, otherwise no refund if canceled after. 

DIRECTIONS/PARKING:
This social will be held in Barrington, NH. Participants will receive all the details 24 hours prior to the event start time.

WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE JOINING AN EVENT:

CANCELLATIONS:
If weather or covid conditions make gathering and walking unsafe, the event will be cancelled and registered participants will receive a email cancellation notice. It will also be announced in the Event section of the Facebook Community Group and on this Calendar page.
