DOGGY SOCIAL: Jam Session for Play & Healing

ABOUT THE EVENT:
Join us for a unique and uplifting 90-minute gathering that blends canine connection with rhythmic inspiration. This special event kicks off with a 45-minute doggy social at the Golden Dog Playground, followed by a 45-minute group drumming session led by Michele Lowry of Nikoe Natural Therapies—an Animal Intuitive, Soul Expansion Facilitator, and experienced sound healing practitioner with over 25 years of experience helping people and animals connect, heal, and thrive.

Part 1 – Doggy Social (45 minutes)

The Golden Dog Playground offers a safe, enclosed space for dogs to explore, sniff, and play while their people mingle and connect.

During this time, your dog will enjoy:

• Safe, off-leash play in a fully enclosed, dog-friendly space
• Confidence-building activities and sensory enrichment stations
• Opportunities to practice social skills in a calm, supportive setting
• Bonding time with you in a fun, low-pressure environment
• As a guardian, you’ll enjoy meeting fellow dog lovers, sharing training tips, and picking up enrichment ideas you can bring home.

Part 2 – Drumming Experience (45 minutes)

After the social, Michele Lowry of Nikoe Natural Therapies will share a guided drumming session designed to help both you and your dog relax and connect. Together, you’ll experience:

• Circle Gathering: Sit together (indoors or under the trees) as Michele guides conscious breathing to help everyone settle.
• Relaxation for Dogs: As you breathe and become present, your dog naturally mirrors your calm energy.
• Introduction to the Drum: Gentle rhythms ease both people and dogs into stillness.
• Bonding Time: Lightly touch and connect with your dog while noticing how they respond to the beat.
• Group Music-Making: Try percussion instruments as Michele guides the group to create balance and harmony together.
• Closing Reflection: Return to one drum, one breath, and a shared sense of peace.

This unique experience relieves stress, uplifts your spirit, and deepens the bond between you and your dog.

IS THIS EVENT GOOD FOR REACTIVE DOGS?
Reactive Dog Level 3-4. See our Comfort Chart for explanation. This event is NOT good for reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs that have not yet experienced a pack of loose dogs. Also, if your dog has any resource guarding behavior this event would not be comfortable for them. Please do not sign up if you feel your dog would be uncomfortable in this social situation since we want all people and dogs to be safe and have a positive experience. If you have concerns or questions about if this event is right for your dog, please email woof@goldendognh.com for assistance.

ABOUT MICHELE LOWRY:
Michele is the Owner and Founder of Nikoe Natural Therapies, an Animal Intuitive and Soul Expansion Facilitator. With over two decades of dedicated exploration, Michele brings a profound passion for supporting others on their journeys. From behavior challenges to toxicity, trauma to senior life care, transition, and spiritual connection, she has gained invaluable wisdom through first-hand experiences with the many animals she has been honored to meet.

Michele’s deep-rooted desire to share how we are all innate, unique, and wise beings has led her to create and facilitate channeled workshops, often incorporating Shamanic drumming to guide participants in opening pathways to animal communication. Her work blends compassion, intuitive insight, and spiritual connection, helping both animals and their people deepen their understanding of one another and themselves.

CANCELLATIONS:
If weather or covid conditions make gathering and walking unsafe, the event will be cancelled and registered participants will receive a email cancellation notice. It will also be announced in the Event section of the Facebook Community Group and on this Calendar page.
