FUNDRAISING EVENT: Dog Days of Summer with David Rosenfelt
**PRE-REGISTRATION HAS ENDED – GET YOUR TICKETS TONIGHT AT THE DOOR**
ABOUT THE EVENT:
We are excited to partner with David Rosenfelt, best-selling author of the Andy Carpenter Mystery Series, for a fun and unique fundraising event to support our Charitable Partners – Mary’s Dogs Rescue & Adoption and the NH Coalition for the Support of Service Dogs. All proceeds benefit these wonderful organizations!
Bring your pup to our private 10,000 sq. ft. venue at the dog-friendly Mall at Fox Run and enjoy an evening filled with games and activities for your dog to engage in while you check out our event partners listed below. In addition, treat yourself to a cocktail from Maeve’s Mobile Cocktail Hour (additional cost). There will also be mocktails available for your dog!
At the event, you will also have the opportunity to meet David and hear a talk about his newest book Dog Day Afternoon. Books will also be available for purchase from RiverRun Bookstore and David will be available to sign.
David, the proud guardian of 11 dogs, writes a popular series of humorous legal thrillers about a reluctant attorney and his faithful golden retriever who face a dog eat dog world, solving mysteries and putting murderers behind bars. David also started the Tara Foundation which has rescued nearly 4,000 dogs and found them all loving homes.
In addition to meeting David Rosenfelt, here is a highlight of other fun activities you and your dog can engage in at this fundraising event:
- Create a Paw Print Keepsake – Visit with Pet Supplies Plus to create a pet safe ink paw print. Hang this easy make-and-take on your refrigerator to remind you of a special evening out with your pup.
- Get a Custom Illustration of Your Dog – Visit with caricature artist Angie Hur and for $20, receive a fun and whimsical doodle of your pup with 20% donated back to our charitable partners. You can also choose to bring a picture of your pet (any pet is welcome) and she can work from the photo. She can also accept pre-orders as well so you can skip the wait. For details on preordering email angelahur2024@gmail.com.
- Meet Adoptable Dogs – Our friends from Mary’s Dogs will be joining us with cute, adorable, furry faces to love upon. Stop by and learn about the work this rescue does, fill out an adoption application or consider being a foster. Your dog can also explore their ball pit to find treats!
- Toy Making Fun – Create a toy at the Golden Dog Adventure Co. table! Perfect for interactive play, this activity involves making a braided fleece toy that hides treats for added fun.
- Artistic Creation – Let your dog become an artist with Kimberly Sarah Photography! Together, you’ll create a unique artwork that reduces canine anxiety and boredom, becoming a cherished keepsake.
- Sensory Exploration – Engage your dog’s senses with a mini Sensory Explorers session from Barrington Barks & Behavior. Learn about professional dog training and sensory programs that facilitate relaxation.
- Search and Find – Challenge your dog to find the hidden ball under the cup with The Trendy Dog, LLC. Successful finders keep the ball and receive a discount code for a purchase.

In addition, we will have raffles for you to buy tickets for, including the opportunity to name a human character, or have your name used, in an upcoming book from David Rosenfelt. All proceeds benefit our charitable partners.
