LIVE BROADCAST: Love Dogs? Learn How to Support Hospice Patients and Their Pets
ABOUT THE EVENT:
Join us for a heartfelt and informative live broadcast with Jayme Thibeault, LNA, Golden Dog Club member, and Hospice Volunteer Coordinator for Cornerstone VNA, one of our charitable partners. Jayme will introduce us to the Pet Peace of Mind (PPOM) program—an incredible initiative that ensures no one has to say goodbye to a beloved pet during hospice care.
Whether you’re curious about volunteering or simply want to better understand how to plan for your pet’s future, this session is for you.
What You’ll Learn:
- What Pet Peace of Mind is and how it supports hospice patients and their pets.
- Ways volunteers can help—from dog walks and transport to grooming support and companionship.
- Training & time commitments involved in becoming a volunteer.
- Stories from the field: A current PPOM volunteer (invited guest) will share her experiences and how she’s made an impact.
- Why pet planning matters at any age: Attendees will receive a helpful form to document a plan for their pet in the event of an emergency or health crisis.
This session is perfect for dog lovers who want to give back in a meaningful way, but aren’t sure where to start. Jayme will walk through everything and answer your questions live—so you can feel confident and informed about taking the next step.
