MEMBER ONLY: Small Group Hike & Lunch

ABOUT THE EVENT:
We love our members and are creating more opportunities for you to get together in small group settings. This will be the first small group of its kind to test the concept. Then we will offer similar opportunities for members and non-members based on feedback.

For our first small group adventure, we will hike 1.5-2 miles along the Merrimack River on the beautiful Les Clark Nature Trail. There are usually lots of bird sightings along the river banks and you may also be able to swim/wade at a special spot with your dog. This is a perfect trail for relaxation and enrichment.

After, join us for lunch at McLaughlin’s Country Market. We will pick up sandwiches and bring them to the small green space off the local park.

IS THIS EVENT GOOD FOR REACTIVE DOGS?
This is a quieter area due to limited parking. The trails are wider and allow for dogs and their people to spread out and step off trail if someone approaches. There is lots of room to spread out for lunch as well. If you have concerns or questions about if this event is right for your dog, please email woof@goldendognh.com for assistance.

Members, you will receive an event reminder 24 hours prior to the event with all the details.

The Les Clark Nature Trail is located at 2-82 Portsmouth St. in Concord, NH.

McLaughlin’s Country Market/Eastside Market is located at 11 Eastman St. in Concord, NH.

WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE JOINING AN EVENT:

CANCELLATIONS:
If weather or covid conditions make gathering and walking unsafe, the event will be cancelled and announced in the Event section of the Facebook Group and on this Calendar page.
