MEMBERS ONLY: Berry Bash & Doggie Dip

**THIS ADVENTURE IS FOR MEMBERS ONLY AND THEIR FAMILIES**

ABOUT THE EVENT:
This adventure is for Golden Dog Club members only. Not a member? Learn about membership and join for discounts and savings on adventures, education, products, and services.

Get ready for a berry sweet summer morning filled with fresh air, fresh fruit, and fresh fun—exclusively for Golden Dog Club members.

We’ll kick things off at Green Acres Berries , a beautiful pick-your-own blueberry farm run by one of our very own members – Rebecca & Rick Green. Stroll the scenic rows with your pup, fill your baskets with sun-ripened blueberries (priced by the quart), and soak in the charm of this peaceful New Hampton, NH gem.

Then we’re off to nearby Chamberlain Reynolds Memorial Forest (10 mile drive) for a short and shady walk through the woods, ending with a chance for the dogs to cool off in the lake—because what’s better than a summer swim after a morning of picking and tasting?

Breakfast Potluck Alert: Bring a Blueberry-Inspired Treat to Share

At the farm, we’ll gather for a relaxed potluck picnic. Everyone is encouraged to bring a blueberry-themed food or drink to share with fellow members. Think simple, summery, and shareable!

Here are a few ideas:

  • Blueberry muffins or mini scones
  • Yogurt parfaits with blueberries and granola
  • Blueberry lemonade or iced tea
  • Fresh fruit skewers or salad
  • Blueberry dog treats
  • Sparkling water with frozen blueberries
  • Anything else your creativity (or kitchen) dreams up

We’ll have a sharing table set up—please label your items and note if they’re human-only or dog-safe.

What to Know

  • Meet at 9:00am at Green Acres Berries. Bring your own containers for picking and plan to pay the farm directly.
  • Dogs must remain leashed at both locations.
  • This is a members-only event—a great opportunity to support a fellow member, enjoy some local flavor, and connect with your community.
  • After picking, we’ll caravan to Chamberlain Reynolds for a short walk and lakeside fun.

Join us for a relaxing and delicious summer outing—where the berries are ripe, the pups are happy, and the memories are sweet.

IS THIS EVENT GOOD FOR REACTIVE DOGS?
Reactive Dog Level 2-3. See our Comfort Chart for explanation. We may encounter other people and dogs at both the farm and on the trail based on the time of year. If your dog will be uncomfortable with more people and dogs around, we recommend leaving them safely at home while you join the fun. If you have concerns or questions about if this event is right for your dog, please email woof@goldendognh.com for assistance.

TRAIL RATING:
The Chamberlain Reynolds Trail is rated as Level 1 Stroll. We will only be walking down to the beach and then back, not the entire trail. We estimate around 1 mile round trip. See an explanation of our Trail Rating System.

ABOUT GREEN ACRES BERRIES:
Green Acres Berries is a family-owned, no-spray U-Pick blueberry farm nestled on Donkin Hill in New Hampton, NH. With stunning views of the White Mountains, the farm grows six varieties of highbush blueberries, all cultivated without the use of chemical sprays. Guests can pick their own berries or purchase fresh pre-picked pints during the season.

The farm’s roots trace back over 20 years, the Green family, inspired by childhood summers picking berries in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, moved to New Hampshire with their three children—and a few four-legged companions—to build a life around healthy food and community around 9 years ago.

Open daily during blueberry season, Green Acres invites visitors to wander the fields, enjoy the fresh mountain air, and experience the joy of gathering delicious fruit straight from the bush.
