OFFICIAL CLUB ADVENTURE: A Mindful Journey with Your Senior Dog

Due to the rainy and cold weather expected this weekend, we have decided to cancel this event.

ABOUT THE EVENT:
Join us for a gentle 1.5-2 mile walk through the serene trails at Little Harbor Loop overlooking Sagamore Creek in Portsmouth, NH. We will be joined by Jody Crotty, Soul Level Animal Communicator® who will guide us in creating a more comfortable and joyful experience for our aging companions. Jody will offer intuitive guidance in enhancing your senior dogs’ experiences and give insights on how to adjust their favorite activities to suit their changing needs. Through mindfully walking with your senior dog, you’ll discover how to reduce stress and deepen your connection while enjoying the beauty of nature. This meaningful walk will also provide valuable resources to help you navigate this journey of your pet’s life with unconditional love and support.

TRAIL RATING:
This trail is rated as Level 1.5 Stroll. The trail is mostly flat but reaches a slight elevation of 104 ft. See an explanation of our Trail Rating System.

IS THIS EVENT GOOD FOR REACTIVE DOGS?
Reactive Dog Level 2. See our Comfort Chart for explanation. We anticipate that this area will be quieter this time of year and there may be less dogs with their handlers on the trails. Dogs must be on leash. The trail is mostly wide and flat with many areas to pull off if needed. If you have concerns or questions about if this event is right for your dog, please email woof@goldendognh.com for assistance.

COST: Please register for this event below. Limited to 15 dogs.

DIRECTIONS/PARKING:
Little Harbor Loop Trail is located in Portsmouth, NH. All the information needed for parking and directions will be emailed to registered participants 24 hours prior to the event start time.

WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE JOINING AN EVENT:

CANCELLATIONS:
If weather or covid conditions make gathering and walking unsafe, the event will be cancelled and registered participants will receive a email cancellation notice. It will also be announced in the Event section of the Facebook Community Group and on this Calendar page.
