OFFICIAL CLUB ADVENTURE: Fitness, Fun, and Focus

ABOUT THE EVENT:
For this Official Club Adventure, we are headed to Concord, NH for a hike at the Jim Hill Riverwalk for some Fitness, and after, to No Monkey Business Dog Training for a Fun and Focus interactive demonstration with Helen St. Pierre and her team.

Join our Adventure Guides at one of our favorite locations in Concord. We will hike approximately 2 miles along the Jim Hill Riverwalk with beautiful views of the Contoocook River. Depending on the weather, there may be an opportunity to swim in the river. A long lead is recommended for the beach area and a 6-8 foot leash for the trail.

After, we will meet at No Monkey Business Dog Training where the group will be split in two. One group will participate in a 30-minute, Fun and Focus interactive demonstration while the other group practices canine fitness in the outdoor grassy space with the Golden Dog team. Then the two groups will switch.

During the Fun and and Focus interactive demonstration, you will learn ways to keep yourself and your dog engaged, and think beyond obedience training. The demonstration will include footwork activities, pattern games and tricks. Participants will learn different boredom busters as well as ways to exercise their dogs beyond just walks/hikes.

IS THIS EVENT GOOD FOR REACTIVE DOGS?
This event is a good one for reactive dogs. The Jim Hill Riverwalk is a quiet trail and we should not encounter much traffic. Keep in mind the trails are mostly narrow and in the woods, however. The Fitness, Fun and Focus interactive demonstrations are great activities to engage a reactive dog. COST: Please register for this event below. Limited to 20 people.

ABOUT HELEN ST. PIERRE:
Helen St. Pierre has been training dogs for over 20 years. She is a professional member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, a member of the Association of Animal Behavior Professionals and is a certified member of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants and a member of the Pet Professional Guild. Helen is also a licensed Dogs and Storks presenter, a licensed Dogs and Toddlers presenter, and a certified AKC evaluator. She also has 11 dogs of her own.

CANCELLATIONS:
