OFFICIAL CLUB ADVENTURE: Honoring the Journey – A Senior Dog Awareness Walk

ABOUT THE EVENT:
Join Certified Animal Communicator and Companion Animal Doula, Jody Crotty, for a peaceful morning walk celebrating the love and wisdom of our senior canine companions, while sharing heartfelt guidance for the journey ahead.

During this gentle, 1.5-2 mile on-leash adventure, we’ll stroll through scenic Benson Park, stopping at a few key locations where Jody will share short, heartfelt talks on:

• Planning ahead with compassion – How the Advanced Care Directive can help you make informed, loving decisions before a crisis.
• Creating lasting memories – Simple, meaningful ways to honor and celebrate your dog’s life while they’re still by your side.

Special Bonus:
Each guest will receive a Paw Print Keepsake Kit—complete with clay, ribbon, and instructions—to create a lasting memento of your dog at home. You’ll also have opportunities for beautiful portraits of you and your dog, taken in some of the park’s most picturesque spots.

While the walk is focused on senior dogs, all ages are welcome. The pace will be slow and accommodating, with plenty of rest stops.

IS THIS EVENT GOOD FOR REACTIVE DOGS?
Reactive Dog Level 1-2. See our Comfort Chart for explanation. This event is best suited for dogs who are generally comfortable around others in an outdoor setting but may need extra space at times. The walk will be on-leash with opportunities for dogs to spread out and avoid direct interaction if needed. Handlers should be prepared to advocate for their dog’s comfort, and we’ll maintain a relaxed pace with plenty of stopping points. TRAIL RATING:
The Trail is rated as Level 1.5 Stroll. See an explanation of our Trail Rating System. The trail we will stroll is mostly flat and wide but does narrow in some places.

COST: Please register for this event below. Limited to 15 dogs.

• Golden Dog Members – $30/dog (Your special pricing will be reflected in the CART.)
• Not-Yet-Members – $45/dog

Full refund issued if cancellation received 48 hours prior to event start time, otherwise no refund if canceled after. 

ABOUT JODY CROTTY:
Jody is a Certified Soul Level Animal Communicator® and author of, Do You Talk with Animals. She’s an active collaborator and member with the Animal Communication Collective™, supporting animal welfare organizations by giving a voice to the animals through online fundraising events.

Jody worked as a Pet Loss Professional at Pet Passages with Purdy Funeral Service. Her time was spent helping families with the grief and loss of their beloved pets, which allowed Jody to have a deeper connection with the animals. This fostered her understanding with pets and the messages they wanted to share.

This adventure takes place at 19 Kimball Hill Road in Hudson, NH. Directions will be provided to participants in the confirmation sent via email 24 hours prior to the event.

WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE JOINING AN EVENT:

CANCELLATIONS:
If weather or covid conditions make gathering and walking unsafe, the event will be cancelled and registered participants will receive a email cancellation notice. It will also be announced in the Event section of the Facebook Community Group and on this Calendar page.
