ONLINE EVENT: Balanced Nutrition for a Busy Summer with Kellie Barr-Foster
ABOUT THE EVENT:
Summer often brings a major shift in routine — vacations, cookouts, later nights, social gatherings, travel, and more meals centered around food. While this season can bring joy and connection, it can also create pressure around body image, “starting over,” or trying to stay perfectly on track.
This interactive Zoom session focuses on building a healthier, more flexible relationship with food during the summer months through practical nutrition, realistic habits, and sustainable daily routines. Nutrition remains the anchor, helping support energy, confidence, hydration, and consistency without falling into cycles of restriction or guilt.
Our guest expert for this month’s discussion is Kellie Barr-Foster, an adventure leader and wellness-minded advocate who has spent more than 35 years helping people reconnect with movement, joy, and healthy living through fun, creativity, and outdoor experiences. Kellie brings both lived experience and decades of personal learning around nutrition, movement, weight management, and navigating the challenges of menopause and changing health needs through different stages of life.
This 90-minute guided discussion creates space for meaningful conversation and practical application. Guests are encouraged to participate through guided prompts and live Q&A to gain the greatest benefit — leaving with actionable tools, greater confidence around summer eating, and supportive connection with others navigating similar challenges.
What we’ll cover:
- How to enjoy summer gatherings without guilt or over restriction
- Building flexible routines during vacations and schedule changes
- Navigating body image pressure and “summer body” messaging
- Practical hydration and seasonal nutrition strategies

- Simple ways to stay grounded without tracking or obsessing
Together, we’ll explore how small, intentional shifts in mindset and routine can help you enjoy summer more fully while continuing to support your energy, wellness, and long-term goals.
