ONLINE EVENT: Burnout Isn’t Just for Work—How to Avoid Summer Overload with Your Pup
ABOUT THE EVENT:
June: Energy & Balance
Theme: Finding Balance in Long, Active Days
Summer brings longer days and more opportunities for activity—but also more demands on your time, energy, and attention. If you’re a devoted dog guardian, you may find yourself juggling daily responsibilities, outdoor adventures, social plans, and the ever-present desire to give your pup the best life possible. It’s easy to get caught up in the go-go-go energy of the season and forget to create space for rest, reflection, and balance.
That’s where the Health & Wellness Support Group for Pet Care Guardians comes in.
This group, led by Traci Bisson, founder and owner of Golden Dog Adventure Co., was created to support the emotional, mental, and physical well-being of dog lovers—people who care deeply about their pets and want to maintain their own health while being the best possible guardian. Our mission is to provide a supportive and nonjudgmental space where dog owners can connect, decompress, share experiences, and learn practical ways to improve their quality of life alongside their dogs.
In this session, we’ll explore how to protect and manage your energy as summer unfolds. Together, we’ll learn how to build better daily rhythms, avoid burnout, and care for ourselves so we can continue showing up fully—for our dogs and for ourselves.
