ONLINE EVENT: Dog Training Methodology Listening Session 1
ABOUT THE EVENT:
Dog training methods and beliefs is a topic that so many dog guardians are passionate about. There is an abundance of information shared online about this topic with over 158 million results shared during a Google search. Confusing jargon, terminology and acronyms can intimidate people looking to have a basic understanding of different training styles and where to start. In addition to the tremendous amount of potentially confusing and inaccurate information available on the subject, dog training is an unregulated industry, which means that anyone can call themselves a dog trainer, regardless of their qualifications or experience.
We will be holding listening sessions about dog training methodology and the current state of the industry in our Zoom room in January and February. We invite the local dog loving community to join the conversation, share, ask questions, listen, and most of all respect the ideas and beliefs discussed by all on the topic even if you do not agree. This will be a guided conversation where participants will be asked questions for their thoughts and feedback. Session etiquette and expectations will be shared at the beginning to keep the conversation courteous and polite.
PLEASE NOTE: Session doors will close at 7:05pm and no one else will be allowed to join. If you are running late, and miss your opportunity to join this session, please join us for the next one coming soon.
- This event is free for all, but you must register to participate. Attendance is limited to 100 people. You will receive the Zoom Room info after registering.
