ONLINE EVENT: Health and Wellness Support Group for Pet Care Providers (April)
ABOUT THE EVENT:
Theme: Managing Stress as Life Blooms
As spring unfolds and life picks up speed, it’s essential to take a step back and focus on stress management. April is National Stress Awareness Month, making it the perfect time to examine how stress impacts us as both individuals and pet guardians.
Stress affects not only our well-being but also our interactions with others, including our dogs. When we are overwhelmed, our pets can sense it and may mirror our emotions or become more reactive. Learning to manage stress is not just about taking care of ourselves; it’s also about creating a calm and nurturing environment for our dogs.
In this session, we’ll discuss practical ways to reduce stress, from mindfulness practices to outdoor activities that help us reconnect with nature. We’ll also explore how being more present and mindful can positively impact our relationships with our pets.
