PACK ADVENTURE: Date Night With the Dog Under the Strawberry Moon
ABOUT THE EVENT:
Our weekday Pack Adventures are designed for smaller groups, making them ideal for dogs who appreciate a little extra space when socializing on the trail.
Looking for a unique way to enjoy a summer evening? Join us in Strafford, NH for a scenic night hike with your dog under the glow of the Strawberry Full Moon. This two-for-one adventure lets you bring your partner, friend, or family member at no extra cost—because good times are even better when shared. Whether you’re coming with a hiking buddy or making it a family outing, this event is all about enjoying nature, your pup, and great company.
We’ll meet at Blue Job Mountain in Strafford, NH, a local favorite known for its manageable climb and big scenic payoffs. At just over 1,200 feet, this easy-to-moderate hike offers breathtaking views from the summit—and on this night, the skies will be lit by the glow of the Strawberry Full Moon.
We’ll head up the left-hand trail to the summit to watch the sunset. Pack your favorite snacks/drinks (no glass bottles) and a blanket, and soak in the golden light with fellow dog lovers. As the sun sets and the Strawberry Moon rises, we’ll descend the mountain by flashlight, soaking in the quiet of the forest at night—keep an ear out for owls or other nocturnal wildlife.
