PACK ADVENTURE: Dover Community Rail Trail (Watson Rd.)
ABOUT THE EVENT:
Pack Adventures are hiking events that happen during the week. They attract a smaller number of people which is perfect for dogs that need some additional space in a group. To celebrate summer, our Pack Adventures will continue to involve water play as well as a hike in nature.
The rural part of the Dover Community Rail Trail, which begins on Watson Rd. in Dover, is wide, flat, offers lots of shade, and provides many opportunities to enjoy swimming in the Cocheco River. Depending on the weather, Adventure Guides Kate and Diane will walk between 3-3.5 miles or shorter to allow for multiple swimming opportunities depending on participants interest and the temperature.
Please bring a long lead and a towel so your dog can enjoy the many swimming opportunities along this trail.
The Dover Community Rail Trail (Watson Rd. entrance) is rated as Level 1 Moderate. See an explanation of our Trail Rating System.
Tickets are limited to 15 people. Scroll down to purchase.
