PACK ADVENTURE: Hike and Swim at Adams Point in Durham
ABOUT THE EVENT:
Pack Adventures are hiking events that happen during the week. They attract a smaller group of people which is perfect for dogs that need some additional space in a group.
Join us mid-week for a hike at Adams Point Wildlife Management Area in Durham. The hike will encompass the loop and trail portion of the WMA which offers access to shorelines, tidal estuaries, marshes, open meadows, and woods via this easy hike. There are also several spots to just sit and enjoy the scenery. We will have the opportunity to tidepool and dogs will have a chance to swim and splash in the water with friends.
The walk begins at 3:00pm and lasts until about 4:30/5:00pm ish.
TRAIL RATING:
The Loop and Trail hikes are rated Level 1.5-2 easy walk with some narrow trails, and a few inclines.
