PACK ADVENTURE: Hike at Beaver Brook

ABOUT THE EVENT:
Pack Adventures are hiking events that happen during the week. They attract a smaller group of people which is perfect for dogs that need some additional space in a group.

Join us for a 2.5-3.5 mile walk as we explore the beautiful trails at Beaver Brook in Hollis, NH.

Beaver Brook Association has 2,187 acres of forest, fields, and wetlands in Hollis, Brookline, and Milford, NH. This land lies where the southern transitional forest meets the northern hardwood forest, creating a diverse landscape of interest to the naturalist and the hiker alike. On this landscape is a network of over 35 miles of trails, which provides a quiet and contemplative setting for daytime excursions. Forest and wildlife management is practiced throughout the property to protect and encourage a diverse array of native species.

IS THIS EVENT GOOD FOR REACTIVE DOGS?
Depending on the weather, the Beaver Brook trails can be busy with other walkers and their dogs. The trails are mostly wide with areas to pull off and let others pass if needed. We will pass through open areas and wooded trails. If you have concerns or questions about if this event is right for your dog, please email woof@goldendognh.com for assistance.

TRAIL RATING:
The Beaver Brook trail is rated as Level 1.5 Moderate. See an explanation of our Trail Rating System. They trails are mostly wide with some narrow paths and a few inclines.

COST: Must preregister for this event. 

• Members – $15/person Your special pricing will be reflected in the CART.
• Non-members – $20/person
• Purchase a 10-walk punch card for $175 (good for Pack Adventures and Pop Up Adventures)

Full refund issued if cancellation received 48 hours prior to event start time, otherwise no refund if canceled after. 

DIRECTIONS/PARKING:
Beaver Brook has two entrances. The larger parking lot is located at 117 Ridge Road in Hollis, NH. This is where we will be located. We will be parked on the right hand side down more towards where the trails start. Near the Yurt. You will see our car with signs.

WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE JOINING AN EVENT:

CANCELLATIONS:
If weather or covid conditions make gathering and walking unsafe, the event will be cancelled and registered participants will receive an email cancellation notice. It will also be announced in the Event section of the Facebook Group and on this Calendar page.
