PACK ADVENTURE: Hiking & Swimming at Willand Pond

ABOUT THE EVENT:
Pack Adventures are hiking events that happen during the week. They attract a smaller number of people which is perfect for dogs that need some additional space in a group. To celebrate summer, our Pack Adventures will continue to involve water play as well as a hike in nature. And if available, a stop for a sweet treat after.

Join us for a hike at Willand Pond in Somersworth this week. Our adventure will take us 1.7 miles out and back over mostly flat trails with multiple opportunities for the dogs to swim. Please bring a long lead. There are human workout stations on this trail that we will turn into dog parkour stations. Be prepared to have your dog learn some new fitness activities.

TRAIL RATING:
This trail is rated a 1 – 1.5. Flat, trails are wider for the most part, 39 foot elevation gain.

COST:

DIRECTIONS/PARKING:
Parking for Willand Pond Trail is located between the gas station and Liquor Store at 481 High St, Somersworth. Across from the Tri-City Plaza. Overflow parking is at the Liquor Store. DO NOT PARK AT BOAT LANDING.

WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE JOINING AN EVENT:

CANCELLATIONS:
If weather or covid conditions make gathering and walking unsafe, the event will be cancelled and announced in the Event section of the Facebook Group and on this Calendar page.
