PACK ADVENTURE: Hiking at Spruce Swamp Conservation Area
ABOUT THE EVENT:
Pack Adventures are hiking events that happen during the week. They attract a smaller number of people which is perfect for dogs that need some additional space in a group. To celebrate summer, our Pack Adventures will continue to involve water play as well as a hike in nature. And if available, a stop for a sweet treat after.
Be a guinea pig and join us for a hike at the *NEW* Spruce Swamp Conservation Area in Brentwood/Fremont, NH. This property, protected by S.E.L.T. straddles Brentwood and Freemont and features part of one of the largest wetland systems in southern NH. Since this is a new trail system, not much information currently exists. We anticipate hiking 2.5-3.5 miles over mostly flat trails based on what information we can find.
Please bring a long lead in case we do find an area suitable for swimming. There is a porta potty at the trailhead parking lot.
We have not yet hiked this trail, but based on our research, we rate this trail a 1 – 1.5. Trails are mostly flat and wide.
Tickets are limited to 12 people. Scroll down to purchase.

To access the parking area and hiking trails, set your GPS for #292 Calef Highway (Route 125), Brentwood, NH. It’s a little confusing as you need to head down a private driveway and then bang a left.
