ABOUT THE EVENT:
Partners, join us monthly for our Marketing Support Group, which meets the 2nd Wednesday of every month (March through November) from 9:00 – 10:30am in our Zoom Room. Details on how to access the Zoom session will be emailed upon registering. A reminder will also be emailed the morning of the event.

Participants will:

• Share ideas, tips, and resources
• Learn new and creative ways to market their business
• Find collaborative partners to help with projects
• Get their marketing & PR questions answered
• Network with other partners
• Discuss marketing insight and trends in the pet industry
• Receive encouragement, advice, and inspiration, from their peers
• Gain increased visibility with other partners

Each month, we also discuss a topic of interest to businesses. May’s topic is Development of an Elevator Pitch.

Elevator pitch is a slang term used to describe a brief speech that outlines an idea for a product, service, or project. The name comes from the notion that the speech should be delivered in the short time period of an elevator ride. A good rule of thumb is that an elevator pitch should be approximately 30 seconds long, with a maximum of 60 seconds.

An elevator pitch is a way of introducing yourself, getting across a key point or two, and making a connection with someone. We will help each other develop a clear and succinct elevator pitch at this session. Come prepared with your current pitch.
