POP UP ADVENTURE: Barkday Bash and Pup Pawty

ABOUT THE EVENT:
Join us for a tail-wagging celebration as we honor Ms. Gilly (9) and Comet (4) with a fun-filled adventure at Benson Park in Hudson, NH for all our furry canine friends and their humans!

We’ll start with a 2.5-3 mile scenic walk along the Haselton Farm Trail, featuring a 252 ft. elevation gain and peaceful surroundings. This quieter trail is perfect for a relaxed stroll with fewer distractions. From there, we’ll explore the historic animal park and make our way to the pond.

Dressed to impress? If your pup enjoys it, bring their best party outfit! Every dog will receive a colorful bandanna and a tasty treat to celebrate.

Instead of gifts, we’re collecting donations for our charitable partners. Here is a wish list provided by the local pet charities we are supporting:

• Cornerstone VNA Pet Peace of Mind Program – cat carrier (1), IAMS sensitive stomach cat food, cat litter, Purina Dog Chow adult dog food
• Old Dogs Go To Helen Wish List – In addition, they can also use heavy duty white duct tape, Greenies Pill Pockets (large, soft dog treats), and PETSWORLD extra large dog pads (odor eliminating, 30″ x 36″)

After the hike, join us at Pup in a Cup in Nashua to continue the pawty! Pup in a Cup is a canine café that allows your dog to enjoy their own food and drinks right alongside you. Treat your pup to a special dog treat, warm drink, or smoothie while you enjoy something delicious for yourself.

IS THIS EVENT GOOD FOR REACTIVE DOGS?
Reactive Dog Level 2. See our Comfort Chart for explanation. The trail will be narrow in places, but should be quieter than other trails in the park. There will also be areas to step off trail in case another dog approaches. We feel this would be a good area to bring your reactive dog if they are OK walking in a wooded/enclosed setting. The trail opens up once we get into the old animal park and down to the pond. The animal park and pond area could be busy with dogs if the weather is nice. Pup in a Cup may be a busy environment and you may choose to get your order to go if more comfortable for your dog. COST: Tickets are limited to 20 people. Scroll down to purchase.

• Golden Dog Members – $25/person (Your special pricing will be reflected in the CART.)
• Not-yet members – $35/person
• Purchase a 10-walk punch card for discounted events (good for Pack and Pop Up Adventures)
• Food/drink purchased at Pup in a Cup Café not included in price

Full refund issued if cancellation received 48 hours prior to event start time, otherwise no refund if canceled after. All the details you need will be emailed 24 hours prior to the event.

CANCELLATIONS:
If weather or covid conditions make gathering and walking unsafe, the event will be cancelled and announced in the Event section of the Facebook Group and on this Calendar page. Participants will also receive a cancellation email.
