POP UP ADVENTURE: Blessing of the Animals

**We are so disappointed to announce that the Cathedral of the Pines has changed the date of the ceremony to October 20th which is the same date as the Corn Maze & Halloween Pawty. They said their officiant is expecting a grandchild on the 6th and needed to reschedule. We will try again in 2025!**

ABOUT THE EVENT:
This adventure is part of a series of walks that “pop up” on the calendar throughout the year. It gives members the opportunity to get out more and enjoy fresh air and friends.

Join us for a truly special experience at the Blessing of the Animals ceremony, held at the beautiful Cathedral of the Pines in Rindge, NH. This event, hosted at the serene St. Francis Chapel, combines a peaceful day of hiking, reflection, and community bonding, all in honor of your furry companions.

Before the ceremony begins at 2:00 PM, we’ll explore the picturesque trails of Cathedral of the Pines, hiking approximately 2 miles through the sanctuary grounds. Afterward, we’ll settle down for a relaxing picnic, enjoying lunch amidst the breathtaking views.

Benefits of attending include the opportunity to experience the peaceful connection between nature, spirituality, and your beloved pet, while also enjoying quality time outdoors with like-minded dog lovers. The Blessing of the Animals provides a beautiful way to celebrate the bond you share with your dog, offering blessings for their health and happiness in the tranquil setting of the St. Francis Chapel.

Remember to pack a lunch for yourself and your dog, along with plenty of water. We recommend bringing a picnic blanket, though picnic tables may be available as well. This event is not only an adventure but a unique opportunity to nurture the bond with your dog in a meaningful way.

IS THIS EVENT GOOD FOR REACTIVE DOGS?
Reactive Dog Level 2-3. See our Comfort Chart for explanation. When we have attended in the past, it was relatively quiet. Lots of room to spread out throughout the grounds and on the trails. It does get a bit cozier when seated in the outside area for the blessing. However, there is room to stand around the perimeter and on the outside part of the area if your dog would feel more comfortable with this distance. Full refund issued if cancellation received 48 hours prior to event start time, otherwise no refund if canceled after.

Cathedral of the Pines is located at 10 Hale Road, Rindge, NH. Watch for all the details to be emailed 24 hours prior to the event start time.
