POP UP ADVENTURE: Sunset Stroll on Mount Agamenticus

ABOUT THE EVENT:
This walk is part of our year-round series of “pop-up” adventures, designed to give dog lovers more opportunities to get outdoors, breathe in fresh air, and enjoy the company of friends.

We’ll begin with a gentle 1-mile loop on the BIG A trail at the summit of Mt. Agamenticus. The path winds through open shrublands and meadows, offering breathtaking views stretching from Boston to the Presidential Range and out over the Atlantic Ocean. Together, we’ll watch the sun dip below the horizon and—if we’re lucky—see a spectacular show of colors.

Participate in the adventure, sign the pledge, include your email, and be entered into a raffle to win a Mt. Agamenticus dog bandana. The raffle drawing will be held Monday, October 27th.

Post-Walk Social
After our stroll, we’ll take a short drive to Odd By Nature Brewing for some community time. Depending on how busy they are and how many there are of us, we may be able to sit inside.

IS THIS EVENT GOOD FOR REACTIVE DOGS?
Reactive Dog Level 1-2. See our Comfort Chart for explanation. The trail at The BIG A is wide and there is room for other dogs and their people to pass safely. There will be lots of room at the brewery as well. We do not anticipate either spot to be crowded based on the time of year. • Golden Dog Members – $25/person* includes parking fee at summit (Your special pricing will be reflected in the CART.)
• Not-Yet Members – $35/person* includes parking fee at summit
• Purchase a 10-walk punch card at a discount (good for Pack Adventures, and Pop Up Adventures)

Do you need to change your reservation? Please email cancel@goldendognh.com. Full refund issued if cancellation received 48 hours prior to event start time, otherwise no refund if canceled after. 

DIRECTIONS/PARKING:
Mount Agamenticus is located in York, ME. All the details for this adventure will be emailed to guests 24 hours prior.

Odd By Nature Brewing is located at 1400 U.S. Rte 1 in Cape Neddick, ME.

If weather or covid conditions make gathering and walking unsafe, the event will be cancelled and announced in the Event section of the Facebook Group and on this Calendar page.
