POP UP TALK: Massage & Snout-to-Tail Wellness Made Simple

ABOUT THE EVENT:
Give your dog (and yourself) the gift of calm connection. In this one-hour, hands-on Pop-Up Talk, featured expert April Begosh, owner of Healthy Pets NH, shows you how simple, at-home massage and a quick snout-to-tail wellness check can boost relaxation, body awareness, and early issue-spotting—without needing any special equipment or prior experience.

What you’ll learn:

• Easy, dog-approved massage techniques to reduce tension and build trust
• How to perform a snout-to-tail assessment (what to look for, what to note, and when to call the vet)
• Mindful handling skills that turn everyday moments into wellness time
• How this session sets you up for our Oct 26 Official Club Adventure: “Dog’s Choice, Dog’s Voice”—a dog-led, mindful stroll that lets your pup set the pace and explore safely

What you’ll receive:

1. A printable Snout-to-Tail Checklist
2. A Massage Starter Guide with step-by-step reminders
3. Light “homework” to practice before the Oct 26 adventure

This workshop is for all dog guardians—whether you have a puppy or senior, a wiggle-worm or a wallflower—who want gentle, practical ways to support their dog’s health and deepen their bond. Simply set up a calm space with your dog’s favorite mat or blanket and a few treats. No prior experience is needed.

ABOUT APRIL BEGOSH:
April Begosh is the founder and owner of Healthy Pets NH, where she brings over three decades of experience in wellness and therapeutic care to both humans and animals. As a Certified Canine Fitness Trainer, Licensed Massage Therapist, and Pet CPR & First Aid Instructor, April is a leading voice in canine wellness education across New Hampshire and beyond.

Since earning her massage therapy license in 1995, April has expanded her practice to include small animal massage, blending her deep understanding of anatomy and movement with a heartfelt commitment to improving pets’ quality of life. She became a Certified Canine Fitness Trainer in 2016 and has been teaching CPR and First Aid for Pets since 2009, empowering pet owners with the knowledge and skills to keep their canine companions safe and thriving.

April’s mission is rooted in creating safe, healthy, and joyful lifestyles for pets—especially as they age. Through her work, she fosters meaningful connections between dogs and their people, helping pets maintain mobility, vitality, and comfort well into their senior years.
