POP UP TALK: Navigating Your Pet’s End-of-Life Journey

ABOUT THE EVENT:
Join us in the Zoom Room for a heartfelt session on Compassionate Planning and Support with Jody Crotty, certified Animal Communicator and Companion Animal Doula.

In this session, you’ll be guided on how to create a Companion Animal Advanced Care Directive to support you and your beloved pet through their end-of-life journey. We’ll gently explore how to craft a thoughtful, loving end-of-life plan, discuss ways to memorialize your beloved pet, and help you understand the importance of preparing in advance. This discussion will guide you in approaching this sensitive topic with confidence and compassion. End-of-life decisions are never easy, and the loss of a beloved pet can be devastating, but by planning ahead, you can honor your pet and be fully present during their journey.

You will:

• Learn how to create a compassionate and thoughtful end-of-life plan for your pet.
• Discover alternative end-of-life resources and available options.
• Gain comfort and confidence in addressing and planning for your pet’s end-of-life journey.
• Receive practical tools, including an Advance Care Directive Worksheet, Reflection Page, List of Resources, and guidance on creating an End-of-Life Kit.
