November is National Senior Pet Month! Learn about all the amazing benefits to living with and adopting a senior dog. Can they learn new tricks? How do you help them settle in? How do you monitor pain and what they need medically?
Traci Bisson, founder of the NH Dog Walking Club, talks with Helen St. Pierre, a certified professional dog trainer and the owner of No Monkey Business Dog Training and Old Dogs Go To Helen in Concord, NH.
Participants will learn:
- How to work with and bond with a senior dog
- Fun tricks and games to do with senior dogs
- How to know when to have “the talk”
- How to advocate senior dog rescue and adoption

Helen St. Pierre has been fostering and adopting senior and hospice dogs for over a decade. It is her belief that a house is not a home without a senior dog laying around.
