POP UP TALK: Senior Dogs, the Good, the Bad, and the Stinky with Helen St. Pierre
ABOUT THE TALK:
November is National Senior Pet Month! Learn about all the amazing benefits to living with and adopting a senior dog. Can they learn new tricks? How do you help them settle in? How do you monitor pain and what they need medically?
Traci Bisson, founder of the NH Dog Walking Club, talks with Helen St. Pierre, a certified professional dog trainer and the owner of No Monkey Business Dog Training and Old Dogs Go To Helen in Concord, NH.
Participants will learn:
- How to work with and bond with a senior dog
- Fun tricks and games to do with senior dogs
- How to know when to have “the talk”
- How to advocate senior dog rescue and adoption
Are you a member of the NH Dog Walking Club Community? If yes, ask a question during the live presentation to earn an entry into our prize giveaway drawings for November. Winners will be picked at random on December 1st.
Helen St. Pierre has been fostering and adopting senior and hospice dogs for over a decade. It is her belief that a house is not a home without a senior dog laying around. In 2019, she started her own foundation to help them and has been featured in the news and on television for her work! For more information, visit OldDogsGoToHelen.com.
