POP UP WALK: Walking Tour of Vineyards and Taste Testing

ABOUT THE EVENT:
This walk is part of a series of walks that “pop up” on the calendar throughout the year. It gives members the opportunity to get out more and enjoy fresh air and friends.

Join us for a 2-3 mile walking tour of the largest vineyard in New Hampshire. We will walk the beautiful grounds at Flag Hill Winery and make our way down to the Lamprey River where the dogs can take a dip. Here, we will have a peaceful quiet moment at the back vineyard with a gorgeous view of the whole property and the river.

After, we will visit the tasting room and gift store (dogs are allowed) which is housed in the original 17th Century post and beam barn, built on the property years ago for the purpose of housing cattle. Here we can sample award-winning wines and spirits.

In addition, participants will receive an entry towards our September giveaways (must sign in), which will be drawn on October 1st.

TRAIL RATING:
The vineyard farm trail is rated as Level 1, easy.

COST:
To cover insurance and planning time that goes into our events, we charge a fee.

• Members – N/C
• Non-members – $7/person (payable at event)
• Tasting at Flag Hill Winery is $10/person for anyone interested. Dogs are allowed in the tasting room. Payable directly to Flag Hill Winery.
• Purchase a 10-walk punch card for $55 – starting 9/1/21 (good for Pack Adventures, Doggy Socials (w/o an expert) Official Club Walks, and Pop Up Walks)

DIRECTIONS/PARKING:
297 North River Rd., Lee, NH. Look for our table in the parking lot.

WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE JOINING AN EVENT:

CANCELLATIONS:
If weather or covid conditions make gathering and walking unsafe, the event will be cancelled and announced in the Event section of the Facebook Group and on this Calendar page.
