SPECIAL ADVENTURE: Dog Friendly Cruise & Pride Celebration

ABOUT THE EVENT:
Join us this June as we set sail with our friends at Al Gauron out of Hampton, NH for a private, dog-friendly cruise—this time with a special Pride Month celebration onboard.

Relax, connect, and take in the ocean air alongside your pup and the Golden Dog community. This extended 2-hour private cruise gives us plenty of time to enjoy the experience without it feeling rushed.

What to expect:

• A scenic cruise along the coast, heading toward the Merrimack River and back
• Plenty of space to relax, move around, and enjoy the fresh ocean air
• Opportunities to spot wildlife and take in beautiful coastal views
• A supportive, welcoming group environment for both people and dogs

Food & Drinks:

• Bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages (no glass bottles)
• Or purchase from the onboard galley (hamburgers, hot dogs, snacks, soft drinks)
• Cash bar available

For dogs who are comfortable in new environments, this is a unique enrichment experience filled with new smells, textures, and gentle movement. If your dog would be more comfortable at home, you’re absolutely welcome to join us solo and still be part of the fun.

Pride Celebration:
June is Pride Month, and we’re excited to celebrate with you. We encourage you and your pup to dress in a way that shows your support—whether that’s a pop of color or full rainbow vibes.

Pride Month honors the LGBTQ+ community, recognizes the history that has shaped it, and celebrates identity, inclusion, and belonging. This event is a chance to come together, connect, and create a space where everyone feels welcome.

IS THIS EVENT GOOD FOR REACTIVE DOGS?
Reactive Dog Level 4. See our Comfort Chart for explanation. This would not be a comfortable environment for a dog who does not like being around people or dogs or has not experienced a boat ride before. We will be spread out on the boat but there will be a lot going on that your dog may react to. You are more than welcome to attend without your dog if you would like.   • Not-Yet-Members – $55/person (Join the membership for $15/month and enjoy this event at the member rate as well as a month of benefits!)
  • **NOTE: $5 parking fee will be due day of event to park at the state-run parking lot.**

Need to change your reservation? Please email cancel@goldendognh.com. Full refund issued if cancellation received 14 days prior to event start time, otherwise no refund if canceled after. 

DIRECTIONS/PARKING:
Directions and parking information will be emailed to guests 24 hours prior to the event.

WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE JOINING AN EVENT:
Please review our Club Guidelines, sign our Liability Waivers & Release Forms, and read our covid guidelines on our Events & Activities page.

CANCELLATIONS:
If weather or covid conditions make gathering and walking unsafe, the event will be cancelled and registered guests will receive a email cancellation notice. It will also be announced in the Event section of the Facebook Group and on this Calendar page.
