SPECIAL EVENT: 2nd Annual Corn Maze & Halloween Pawty

ABOUT THE EVENT:

Join us for our 2nd Annual Corn Maze & Halloween Pawty at Beech Hill Farm in Hopkinton, NH on Sunday, October 23rd from 10:00am – 12:00pm.

We have rented the farm for the first two hours before they open to the public. Participants have access to all parts of the farm, including a 1-mile nature trail and 2 corn mazes. In addition, you can visit with the farm animals, shop for mums, pumpkins, and other items, and visit the ice cream barn.

We will also have raffles with lots of useful prizes and gifts for pet parents. Bring cash to participate. Tickets are $1 each or 10 for $5. All proceeds benefit Mary’s Dogs Rescue & Adoption.

In addition, your dog can take advantage of all these fun activities happening at our Corn Maze & Halloween Pawty:

• Meet Adoptable Dogs – Kelly from Mary’s Dogs will be joining us with cute, adorable, furry faces to love upon. Stop by and learn about the work this rescue does, fill out an adoption application or consider being a foster.
• Try Agility Equipment – Introduce your dog to a fun new exercise or reinforce their learning with certified professional dog trainer Kristine Thurston, from You and Your Dog Training & Services, who will be joining us with agility equipment.
• Experience Canine Fitness & Massage – Certified canine fitness trainer April Begosh, with Canine Strong, will be joining us for demonstrations on her fitness equipment for dogs. Learn about the importance of good canine strength training, try out the equipment, and participate in a mini laser therapy or massage session.
• Create a Halloween Bandanna for Your Dog – Everyone loves arts and crafts with their dog. Your dog’s paw print makes a great pumpkin. The team at Golden Dog will help you create a holiday bandanna for your dog. Decorate with paint, fabric markers, glitter, and more.
• Enjoy a Boo Pup Cup – Stop by the Golden Dog booth for a cup of whipped cream to top with fun treats for your dog.
• Hike the Rhododendron Nature Trail – Beech Hill Farm’s one-mile Rhododendron Nature Trail passes by one of the northernmost stands of Giant Rhododendron in NH. This is a self-guided trail.
• Visit with Friendly Farm Animals – Beech Hill Farm is home to a wonderful assortment of farm animals, including calves, piglets, lambs, baby goats, donkeys, chickens, ducks, rabbits, and more!
• Explore the Corn Mazes – The farm has two, self-guided corn mazes again this year and the themes are “ICE CREAM JEOPARDY” and “NH ECO-SPY”.  The Ice Cream Jeopardy maze Celebrates the Beech Hill Farm Ice Cream Barn’s 25 Anniversary.  The NH Eco-spy is about New Hampshire Wildlife and Ecosystems.

TRAIL RATING:
The nature trail and corn mazes are Level 1-1.5, mostly flat, narrow in places. See an explanation of our Trail Rating System.

COST: Must preregister for this event. 

• Members: includes all activities + 1 Bandanna and 1 Boo Pup Cup per dog, additional can be purchased for $5 each
  • $35/dog (includes up to 2 humans)
  • $50/dog (includes up to 4 humans)
  • $10/additional human
  • Children age 3 and under are free
• Non-members: includes all activities + 1 Bandanna and 1 Boo Pup Cup per dog, additional can be purchased for $5 each
  • $45/dog (includes up to 2 humans)
  • $60/dog (includes up to 4 humans)
  • $10/additional human
  • Children age 3 and under are free

Full refund issued if cancellation received 1 week (7 days) prior to event start time, otherwise no refund if canceled after. If weather makes holding this event unsafe, the rain date is Sunday, October 30th.
