ABOUT THE EVENT:
It’s almost here – our 4th Annual Corn Maze & Halloween Pawty at Beech Hill Farm in Hopkinton, NH on Sunday, October 20th from 10:00am – 12:00pm! This year’s event is packed with exciting activities, spooky fun, and tail-wagging good times for you and your dog! 🐾🍁

This is our BIGGEST fall event of the year, and it’s happening rain or shine. Tickets go fast, so members, be sure to grab yours starting September 15th, and the general public can snag theirs on September 20th.

✨ Exclusive Access! ✨ We’ve rented out the entire farm for the first two hours, so you and your pup get the whole place to yourselves before the public arrives. From engaging in fun activities at vendor booths, exploring the corn mazes and nature trail to hanging out with adorable farm animals, there’s something for everyone. And don’t forget to stop by the ice cream barn, which opens at 11:30am! 🍦🎃

🎟️ NEW this year – our V.I.D. (Very Important Dog) ticket holders get in early at 9:30am! This extra half hour means even more fun and exclusive perks for you and your pup. 🐕🌟 (P.S. For the record, all dogs ALL important ❤️)

HIGHLIGHTS:
There are so many fun things to do and see at this year’s event, including arts & crafts with your dog, nosework activities, confidence building fun, tasting delicious food and drink, hiking, exploring, and other unique physical and mental enrichment experiences.

• 🎃 Trick-or-Treat at Vendor Booths – Meet all of our amazing event partners and trick-or-treat for yourself and your dog at each table.
• 🎃 Meet Adoptable Dogs & Get a Treat – Snuggle up to some adorable, adoptable dogs from Mary’s Dogs Rescue and grab a special Boo Cup treat for your pup! Donations appreciated.
• 🎃 Boost Your Dog’s Confidence – Engage in fun, physical and mental activities and games with equipment and puzzles that will increase your dog’s confidence level at the Golden Dog booth. Perfect for all skill levels!
• 🎃 Engage in Nosework Fun – Certified dog trainer Ashley Clark of You and Your Dog Training & Services will be guiding your pup through fun scent work activities. Perfect for all skill levels!
• 🎨 Get a Custom Dog Illustration – Get a beautiful, custom illustration of your pup by artist Angie Hur of Angie Doodles for just $20!
• 🌈 Get Creative with Tie Dye Fun – Join Jen from New England Tie Dye to create matching tie-dye gear for you and your dog! Additional cost.
• 🎃 Stop by the Halloween Photoshoot – Sandra McCarthy Photography will be there capturing spooky shots of you and your furry friend. Free digital image!
• 🎃 Color a Cookie for Your Dog – Stop by the Golden Dog booth to decorate a delicious cookie just for your pup.
• 🎃 Make and Take – At the Golden Dog table, you can also make your pup a braided felt tug and treat toy.
• 🍹 Sip a Mocktail – You and your pup can enjoy a dog-friendly mocktail from Maeve’s Mobile Cocktail Hour. Additional cost.
• 🌮 Grab a Taco – Grab a bite at the BeWitchen Kitchen Taco Trailer – a breakfast and lunch taco feast fit for both humans and pups. Additional cost.
• 🎃 Bob for Pumpkins – Watch your dog dive into a ball pit with treat filled pumpkins at Canine Connections for some festive fun.
• 🎃 Watch Your Pup Paint – Let your dog’s creativity flow by making a paw-some piece of artwork with Helping People Helping Pets. Donations appreciated.
• 🎃 Craft a Paw Print Spider – Create a cute Halloween craft with your pup’s paw print with Jody Crotty, Soul Level Animal Communicator.
• 🎃 Hike the Rhododendron Nature Trail – Explore the scenic mile-long trail filled with nature’s beauty!
• 🎃 Meet the Farm Animals – Spend some time with Beech Hill Farm’s charming animals, including baby goats, donkeys, rabbits, and more!
• 🎃 Conquer the Corn Mazes – Explore the “ALOHA STATE” and “MUSEUM MIX UP” corn mazes and see if you can find your way out!
• 🎃 Compete in the Best Team Costume Contest – 👻 Get creative and enter our dog/handler team costume contest for a chance to win cold, hard cash! 🏆 Dress up with your dog for a shot at 1st place ($75), 2nd place ($50), or 3rd place ($25). Trust us, the competition is fierce – so bring your A-game! (Note: please do not force your dog to wear a costume if they are not comfortable. After costumes are judged, fee free to change, especially if the weather is warm.)

CHOOSE YOUR EXPERIENCE:
This year, we have two experience choices, our General Admission experience and our V.I.D. (Very Important Dog) experience.

• General Admission Experience – in addition to all of the activities above marked with a 🎃, your General Admission experience also includes entry for 1 dog and 1 human for 2 hours of fun!
• V.I.D. Experience – in addition to all of the activities above marked with a 🎃, your V.I.D. experience also includes entry for 1 dog and up to 2 humans, invitation to join us a 1/2 hour earlier starting at 9:30am for 2.5 hours of fun, Golden Dog Halloween Wag Bag filled with treats and toys ($50 value), and ticket for a doggy mocktail.

IS THIS EVENT GOOD FOR REACTIVE DOGS?
Reactive Dog Level 2-3. See our Comfort Chart for explanation. This event has welcomed reactive dogs successfully in the past. There is plenty of room to spread out on the farm. In addition, the barn, where some of the vendors will be located, has several entry and exit points. Booths are also spread out with dogs comfort and space needs in mind. We do anticipate around 50 dogs in attendance and around 75 people. Our professional dog training partner, Louise Belmont from Red Partner Dog Training, will also be in attendance to monitor people and dog safety as well as the comfort level of all attending. Please note the lack of site lines and potential surprise encounters from other dogs and their handlers when navigating the corn mazes. Having another human partner with you to help navigate is recommended. TRAIL RATING:
The nature trail and corn mazes are Level 1-1.5, mostly flat, narrow in places. See an explanation of our Trail Rating System.

COST: Must preregister for this event. Limited tickets available.

  • Non-members:
    • $90/dog (includes 2 humans)

    • Children age 3 and under are free and do not need a ticket

Full refund issued if cancellation received 1 week (7 days) prior to event start time, otherwise no refund if canceled after. This event is rain or shine. If extreme or unsafe weather prevents us from holding the event, it will be rescheduled to Sunday, October 27th at the same time.

CANCELLATIONS:
If weather or covid conditions make gathering and walking unsafe, the event will be canceled and announced in the Event section of the Facebook Group and on this Calendar page. Registered participants will also be notified by email.
