SPECIAL EVENT: Downtown Portsmouth Scavenger Hunt

ABOUT THE EVENT:
Are you looking for a unique shopping activity for you and your dog? Join us for the 1st Annual Downtown Portsmouth Scavenger Hunt for a chance to win some cool prizes from dog-friendly merchants.

Explore the beautiful and historic downtown area as you follow our “treasure map” to search for our dog head avatar in locations throughout the area.

Your adventure begins at the Kimberly Sarah Photography Dog Art Gallery. Enjoy some sustenance for you and your dog, grab your map with instructions, and head out into the downtown area to see how many dog heads you can locate at locations like Ceres Gallery, Canine Cupboard, Flower Kiosk, and more.

Team up with other participants and work together to find the dog head avatar. Your map offers clues on where to locate! Every dog head you find earns you an entry into the giveaways to be awarded at the end of the hunt.

After the hunt, join us back at the Dog Art Gallery for more refreshments and to see if you are a winner!

IS THIS EVENT GOOD FOR REACTIVE DOGS?
Downtown Portsmouth is an urban area with lots of sounds and motion. This environment may be overwhelming and uncomfortable for many dogs. You are welcome to participate in this event without your dog if you feel they would prefer to stay home. If you have concerns or questions about if this event is right for your dog, please email woof@goldendognh.com for assistance.

COST: Must preregister for this event. Tickets are limited to 30 people.

• Members – $25/person – discount will be reflected in your cart
• Non-members – $40/person

Full refund issued if cancellation received 7 days prior to event start time, otherwise no refund if canceled after.

Meet for the hunt at Kimberly Sarah Photography located at 40 Pleasant Street in Portsmouth, NH.

WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE JOINING AN EVENT:

CANCELLATIONS:
If weather or covid conditions make gathering and walking unsafe, the event will be cancelled and announced in the Event section of the Facebook Group and on this Calendar page. Participants will also be notified via email.
