SPECIAL EVENT: 4th Annual Doggy Easter Egg Hunt

ABOUT THE EVENT:
Join us for the 4th Annual Doggy Easter Egg Hunt Fundraiser in collaboration with Muddy Road Brewery in New Durham, NH. This is a one-of-a-kind, limited ticket event for dogs and their people to engage in fun physical and mental activities, including canine fitness, relaxing sensory activities, furry family photographs, arts and crafts, and a nose work sniffari as dogs search the woods for eggs filled with delicious treats. This year, we are offering two experience opportunities – our V.I.D. (very important dog) ticket and our general admission ticket. Additional information about both experiences can be found below.

Proceeds benefit our Charitable Partners Program, which has raised over $50K for local pet charities since 2019.

ACTIVITIES:
You and your dog will enjoy many unique activities and experiences being offered by our amazing event partners. In addition to a fun egg hunt with treats donated by Stella & Chewy’s, you can participate in all activities marked with an (🐣), which are also included with your experience ticket. Please note that activities are subject to change.

• Muddy Road Brewery – Enjoy craft brews and fresh hot pizza available starting at 12:00pm. Water, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate will also be available for purchase.
• 🐣Mary’s Dogs – Stop by to meet adoptable pups and enjoy a delicious treat – pup cups for our furry friends and homemade root beer floats for the humans. Donations welcome.
• 🐣NHSPCA – Stop by to meet adoptable pups, spin a wheel with dog pictures and guess the breed it lands on. A correct guess wins a Paws Walk bandana for your dog. Donations welcome.
• 🐣Cornerstone VNA/Pet Peace of Mind – Create a unique keepsake with Paw Print Art. Choose a greenery design and add your pup’s prints. Donations welcome.
• 🐣Old Dogs Go To Helen/No Monkey Business Dog Training – Dogs will enjoy brain game toys with hidden treats, while their humans search for prizes under secret dog-themed rubber ducks. Donations welcome.
• 🐣Pet Supplies Plus – Stop by for a complimentary dog nail trim. Must bring vet-signed rabies proof and sign a waiver. Includes a coupon for a free nail file or teeth brushing with a groom or bath at the Somersworth, NH location.
• 🐣Take Five Dogcare – Engage in a Paws Up Station that allows your dog to explore various textures, boosting confidence through enriching sensory activities that engage touch and smell.
• 🐣Barrington Barks & Behavior – Sensory Explorers sessions let your dog safely explore and relax in a calm, dog-friendly environment. It’s a chance to watch your pup be their true, happy self while enjoying a little stress relief!
• Animal Health Consultants, Lisa Boyer, DVM – Discover your dog’s DNA. Get on-site testing for $125 or bring your report for a free consult with Dr. Boyer. Choose this additional option when registering below. Limited kits available for purchase at event.

• 🐣Jody Crotty, Soul Level Animal Communicator – Hop on over and make an adorable Paw Print Easter Bunny keepsake with your pup friend.
• 🐣Pawsitive Pet – Connect with Cindy, professional dog trainer, and meet a therapy dog. You can also learn about becoming a therapy team, try a mock evaluation, and learn easy tricks to teach your pup.
• 🐣Canine Connection – Hop on over to Canine Connection’s Puzzlemania station to test your dogs problem solving skills with a variety of mind bending logic puzzles.
• 🐣Odd Quad Photography – Your dog can dive into a Ball Pit Sniffing Game, searching through a kiddie pool filled with balls to find hidden treats, with options for all preferences and allergies.
• 🐣Golden Dog Adventure Co. – Boost your dog’s confidence with fun obstacles like tunnels, low jumps, and weave poles—encouraging problem-solving and success.

• 🐣Pampered Paws K9 Massage – Join Jenn in the Zen Zone – a relaxation station where dogs enjoy calming music, lavender scent, and gentle massage techniques.
• 🐣Helping People Helping Pets – Your pup can become a Peanut Butter Picasso. Choose your colors, add peanut butter or cheese, and watch them lick their masterpiece to life. Donations welcome.

Your general admission experience ticket gives you and your dog access to our exclusive event as well as…

• 15+ physical and mental activities and experiences for your dog to engage in at our event partner booths
• Easter egg hunt to locate 20 eggs filled with treats (some contain prize slips) in an open field
• Chance at finding two prize eggs during your hunt (divided into 3 sessions with 15-18 dogs/hunt)

V.I.D. (very important dog) Ticket (only 12 available):
Your V.I.D. experience ticket (which includes everything listed under general admission) provides additional perks and benefits such as…

• One additional human added to your ticket
• Access to the event a half hour earlier – starting at 10:30am
• A special Easter bag with treats and sensory toys for your dog
• First entry into the field to find eggs before other guests
• 10 additional eggs for your V.I.D. to locate for a total of 30 treat-filled eggs
• Three prize eggs instead of two during your egg hunt
• 1 in 12 chance of winning our special V.I.D. raffle prize (value $100), donated by Stonewall Surveying

IS THIS EVENT GOOD FOR REACTIVE DOGS?
Reactive Dog Level 2-3. See our Comfort Chart for explanation. This event has welcomed reactive dogs successfully in the past. There is plenty of room to spread out at the brewery. Booths will be spaced with your dog’s comfort and space needs in mind. We do anticipate around 60 dogs in attendance and around 75 people. Our event team includes experienced dog handlers and our professional dog training partner, Helen St. Pierre of No Monkey Business Dog Training, will also be in attendance to ensure the safety and comfort of both people and their pups. Helen will be monitoring interactions, offering guidance, and helping create a positive experience for everyone. Her expertise in dog behavior and safety will help keep the environment stress-free and enjoyable. We encourage all participants to be open to these interactions, as they provide valuable learning opportunities and help ensure a safe and welcoming space for all. Your ticket purchase is NONREFUNDABLE since this is a fundraising event. The 4th Annual Doggy Easter Egg Hunt is rain or shine. If extreme weather makes it unsafe to hold the event, the reschedule date is Saturday, April 26th. 

LOCATION:
Muddy Road Brewery, New Durham, NH – additional information can be found on our Official Event page. 24 hours prior to the event, you will also receive a reminder with additional information.

CANCELLATIONS:
If extreme weather or covid conditions make gathering unsafe, the event will be rescheduled to Saturday, April 26th. Registered guests will receive an email notification if rescheduled. It will also be announced in the Event section of the Facebook Group and on this Calendar page.
