SPECIAL EVENT: Hike and Tasting at Hobbs Brewing Co.
The Cotton Valley Rail Trail is a hard packed, family-friendly multi-use rail-trail which meanders along two (2) lakes, over trestles, scenic wetlands, beaches, back woods and fields. The Trail links the towns of Wolfeboro, Brookfield, and Wakefield by way of a former railroad right-of-way.
Trail amenities include restrooms and portable toilets, parking, benches, picnic tables, beach, historic train sites: turntable, sheep pass-throughs, and old trestles.
Depending on the weather, we will walk 3-4 miles along the trail and expect to find places for the dogs to swim as well. Additional information will follow on what section of the trail we will have our adventure on.
After our hike, we will drive approx. 20-30 minutes over to Hobbs Tavern & Brewing Co. for a late lunch and tasting. This adventure is 21 and over only.
The trail is rated as a Level 1. The trail is flat and wide and is accessible by wheelchairs/dogs with carts in most areas.
