SPECIAL EVENT: Hike, Picnic & Chocolate Tasting Experience

ABOUT THE EVENT:
We are excited to announce a collaboration with Loon Chocolates in Manchester, NH and Gunther’s Goodies in Hooksett, NH for this fun and tasty way to end a hike for humans and dogs.

To start our adventure, we will begin with a 4 mile hike at Tower Hill Pond in Auburn, NH. This is a flat and mostly wide trail that circles the Pond. Unfortunately, the dogs are unable to swim in this pond, but the views are beautiful.

At the conclusion of the hike, we will caravan to Loon Chocolate in Manchester approximately 20 minutes away. There, we will enjoy a picnic lunch. Please bring lunch and a drink for yourself and your dog(s). No glass bottles. Carry in/out only.

For a special dessert, join us for a one-of-a-kind chocolate tasting experience for humans and biscuit tasting experience for dogs.

At Loon Chocolate, they believe you should Live Free & Eat Great Chocolate! During this experience, we want you to taste the subtle, savory, and sweet differences their chocolate offers. While relaxing and learning about the chocolate making process, in this 30-45 minute program, you will be treated to 3 different and distinct flavors of chocolate to taste from their bean to bar handcrafted collection.

While you enjoy luscious chocolate, your dog will also be relaxing and treated to their own unique tasting from Gunther’s Goodies. They will enjoy tasting all natural, limited ingredient, dog treats, including peanut butter, blueberry, and carrot & pumpkin. Each package includes all ingredients.

PLEASE NOTE: Chocolate is toxic to dogs and should never be shared with your furry friend. Measures are being taken to ensure the area and this event is safe for your dog to attend. If you have any concerns, please email woof@goldendognh.com.

*Includes chocolate tasting for humans and biscuit tasting for dogs. Does not include picnic lunch.

Full refund issued if cancellation received 72 hours prior to event start time, otherwise no refund if canceled after.

DIRECTIONS/PARKING:
The Tower Hill Pond Trail is near the Manchester Water Supply. Additional details will follow in the 24-hour event confirmation.

Loon Chocolate is located at 252 Willow Street South Lot, Manchester, NH.

CANCELLATIONS:
If weather or covid conditions make gathering and walking unsafe, the event will be cancelled and announced in the Event section of the Facebook Group and on this Calendar page.
