SPECIAL EVENT: Viewing and Celebration of the Beaver Moon

ABOUT THE EVENT:
Join us for our own early celebration of the Thanksgiving holiday as we walk and view the beautiful Beaver Moon at North Beach in Hampton, NH. After, we will enjoy food and brews on the heated deck at Loaded Question Brewing in Portsmouth, NH. Treats for the dogs too!

The November full moon also known as the Beaver Moon heralds a moment of giving and sharing the efforts we have made throughout the year. In the past, it marked the end of the hunting season; food stores would have been full for the winter ahead. It is also the time when beavers begin taking shelter in their lodges after storing enough food for the winter.

Please bring a warm blanket or mat for your dog at the brewery as well as a sweater or jacket if they normally wear this time of year. Don’t forget water for your furry friend. We will provide a treat for the dogs.

Details on local food vendors and restaurants to order and pick up food from will be provided closer to the event date. If you prefer, you can also bring food in. The brewery serves a limited selection.

IS THIS EVENT GOOD FOR REACTIVE DOGS?
The beach walk portion of this event is appropriate for reactive dogs. There will be lots of room to spread out and give dogs additional space. The brewery has lots of seating, but if there are other guests there, seating will be tighter and would be uncomfortable for reactive dogs. In this case, we recommend attending the Beaver Moon Viewing only. If you have concerns or questions about if this event is right for your dog, please email woof@goldendognh.com for assistance.

COST: Please register below for the option you prefer. Limited to 25 people.

Full refund issued if cancellation received 48 hours prior to event start time, otherwise no refund if canceled after. 

DIRECTIONS/PARKING:
North Beach is located at 920 Ocean Blvd, Hampton, NH. Parking is along the road. You should not have to pay to park at this time of year.

Loaded Question Brewery is located at 909 Islington St Suite #12, Portsmouth, NH.

WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE JOINING AN EVENT:

CANCELLATIONS:
If weather or covid conditions make gathering and walking unsafe, the event will be cancelled and announced in the Event section of the Facebook Group and on this Calendar page.
