Many dogs are abandoned or neglected and never given the chance at a good life. But there is a rescue organization in New Hampshire working hard to make a difference and give these dogs a second chance.
Sandra McCarthy Photography and Golden Dog Adventure Co. have teamed up to raise funds and create awareness of the plight of rescue dogs here in New Hampshire. Together, with Mary’s Dogs Rescue & Adoption, we are working on a Photographic Art Book Project that will tell the story of these amazing creatures as well as the humans who make their second chance at life possible. We believe all dogs deserve the opportunity to find a loving and caring home.
Dog overpopulation in the south is due to warmer weather, poverty that makes it hard to pay for spaying and neutering, and fewer legal controls over loose dogs.
About Mary’s Dogs Rescue & Adoption
Mary’s Dogs, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, located in Northwood, NH, actively supports the efforts of their rescue partners in the south who work tirelessly to reduce the number of homeless dogs on the streets and in shelters. In addition to rescuing and rehoming dogs, Mary’s Dogs also serves as a resource to communities and dog owners by providing education and promoting awareness on responsible pet ownership, including the importance of spaying/neutering, positive behavior training, and good nutrition.

Sandra McCarthy Photography, Mary’s Dogs, and Golden Dog Adventure Co. are partnering on a Photographic Art Book Project to create awareness of rescue dogs in NH. The end goal is a beautiful, limited-edition, custom-designed, hardcover photo book that will highlight rescue dogs, share the story behind their rescue, and introduce you to the amazing humans – volunteers, foster families, shelter employees, etc. – who make it all possible.
We need your help!
We have a fundraising goal of $10K, with proceeds given directly to support the rescue work and operating expenses incurred by Mary’s Dogs Rescue & Adoption. In addition, sales of the Photographic Art Book Project, which will be completed by December 2023, will go directly to Mary’s Dogs. With your support, we can reach and hopefully exceed our goal!

If you sponsor by April 1, 2023, your company/family will be featured in a live broadcast to announce the project on social media via StreamYard.
