It Takes A Village Pet Care has recently started hosting a monthly dog walking group, billing it as a fun way to socialize with people who have the same love for their dogs, and as an opportunity to expose your dog to other dogs all while getting exercise and exploring the outdoors.
The group began when Traci Bisson, owner and founder of It Takes A Village Pet Care, had one of her employees ask if she could plan a walk with other employees and the dogs they walk for customers.
″(An employee) suggested that it would be great if our team could get together on weekends and walk our dogs together,” Bisson said.
Bisson said this led her to consider turning this into a community event and fit into the mission of her company:
“To be a contributing and supporting member of our local community and use sustainable practices to reduce our environmental impact. We are committed to educating our customers as well as encouraging and rewarding them for living sustainably. We embrace the ethics of permaculture – Care of the Earth. Care of People. Return of surplus to Earth and People (Fair Share) – in everything we do and in every business decision we make. We strive to contribute to a healthier environment and society.” READ STORY>>
