Kate previously worked for It Takes a Village Pet Care before transitioning to Golden Dog Adventure Co., where she now serves as the Lead Adventure Guide.

In this role, she leads in-person adventures, facilitates online events, and assists with human resources responsibilities. Kate has extensive hands-on experience with dogs through dog walking, pet sitting, and fostering rescue dogs, and she has worked closely with professional trainers to support both her own dogs and those in her care.

Outside of Golden Dog, Kate is the Resource Center Manager at a community mental health center, where she leads a team dedicated to connecting individuals with essential community resources and support services. She is also deeply involved in animal rescue as an Adoption Coordinator and Staff Supervisor with Mary’s Dogs, and has personally fostered more than 25 rescue dogs.

In her free time, Kate enjoys hiking, running, and traveling. She lives in Rochester, New Hampshire, with her daughter, four cats, and her dog, Gus.
